Calling all DYNA-GROW Nutrients Guys...How does this line Work in SOIL?

After reading many posts about Dyna-Gro being cost effective and just effeective in general I have decided to give it a chance. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dyna-gro-Grow-Bloom-2oz-Bottles-of-each-/350703285609?pt=Fertilizer_Soil_Amendments&hash=item51a78b7569

The only issue I have found is there is not SOIL feeding chart. I use ProMix and Sunshine 4.

I have found some info on what others are doing with their Dyno feedings but it seems there is no concrete feeding schedule for soil.

Which one of their nutes do I need to purchase...if it's the full line that's fine...just need to know how to use it. I really wish the company would create a system like Fox Farm...I bet that would increase their biz.

I just want to know what I need as a FULL line...where I do not have to buy any additives or anything else. I fine with buying their full line as long as it has EVERYTHING my ladies need.

I'm thinking of running a side by side for all my fellow RIU'ers....

All you Dyno-Gro guys....whats the BEST of the BEST no cost worries...with the Dyna-gro system.

Didnt read, feed by ppm not back of the bottle.

I do not own a bottle...I asking others what their mix is? What they have found to be the best results...ect.

Thanks...now I now about the ppm lol. Got a good proven Dyna-gro formula???? I was thinking of giving them a call tomorrow.

Download this:

Use the formula for Drain to Waste. You aren't soil you are soilless which is hydroponics.
I hope this helps,
Thanks,

yea, I found that yesterday but...many say that chart is no good. I have done alot of research I... didn't just post cause I was lazy...I researched this for a few days before I just said F it...I'll ask on of the Dyna-Gro gurus :bigjoint: lol

I read one person called them...I was thinking of doing the same...ask for a free sample to

I use Dyna Gro. I use Foliage Pro instead of Grow during Veg. During Bloom I'm still using up my General Hydroponics Bloom nutrients. So I haven't swapped to that yet. I use KLN for cloning. It's currently helping me root most everything prior to 10 days. I also use ProTekt as a silicone additive.

Hope that helps,

get-

foliage pro. it can be fed all the way through, although i find the bloom produces very hard, dense flowers.

10mL per gallon for established plants.

I know a few other people that are looking to Give Dyna-Gro a chance but are having the same issues I am having with finding a uniform feeding scheduled as it seems like everyone has their own "dyna-gro formula".

Hopefully this thread will help all of us pondering Dyna-Gro for soil less or soil

So I should go ahead and buy the entire line...yea.

thats what i roll in flower. in vegg, i jus cut out the bloom. if your only running a few plants, the quart bottles will last you a long, long time. possibly a year.
i use the KLN for cloning (in a bubble cloner, with foam pucks), and wouldnt clone without it if at all possible.

I don't use DynaGro's Cal/Mag product. I prefer Botanicare's because of the Iron. But I own DynaGro's Foliage Pro, Grow, Bloom, KLN, Neem Oil. I also prefer Advanced Nutrient's pH Down because it's the most concentrated and therefore I can use a lot less.

I've happily used General Hydroponic's Flora series and that worked fine. I switched because I'd heard some good things about it here. I can't say I see much of a difference from the GH Product but they are equivalently priced and work well so I'm ok with them.

its all just tweaked ratios of the same stuff.

dynagro's base nutrients (foliage pro, grow, and bloom) are all complete formulas that can be used start to finish.
i wouldnt recommend bloom though, its going to make your leaves drop.

if you check out homebrewers thread, i think he did a few nice grows using just the "grow" and "protekt" in hydro.

Good look,

Yea I check his thread and read that gold mine of info. He's a good man for posting that.

My deal is DAM I wish there was just one uniform chart or mix. Most say not to use the "Boom" when in flower...shit goes against my intuition lol...I WANT to use "bloom" when I'm in bloom LMAO.

I'm gonna master this Dya-Gro shit (soil / soiless) even if I have to call :bigjoint: and speak with one of their reps...which I hear are also good peps. Even though I roll legit ... I'm leery about asking them directly. Word is Fox Farm reps will just hang up the phone. Might have to beat around the tush and work my up to the bush. :blsmoke:

bloom is fine to use. it just is way to low in N to provide a good balance in flower for us. just add some grow to the mix to even it out. its not that big a deal. a little critical thinking will go a long way.

it almost always says on ANY nutrient, you may need more or less depending on your plants needs. Yes, DG Grow will run perfectly fine start to finish, all by its lonesome self. I know because i have a buddy who does just this. nothing fancy. 2-4 ml grow per gallon, and he turns out really nice buds. hes super small scale and doesnt need to get all complicated. but his plants are just fine.

In promix, I'd only recommend Grow and protekt and even then, protekt isn't a requirement. Foliage pro is a nice tool to have for long flowering sativas but in veg, it performs exactly like 'grow'. Follow the 'maintenance' directions on the back of their bottle and try to avoid 'feeding charts'.

Thanks Brewer...I was kinda hoping you would chime in.

So I'm going to go ahead and get "Grow" and "Protekt".

What exactly is Protekt. Would you rec using the same dosage in veg an bloom. I have never seen a bottle so not sure if it has a flower and veg sch on the back.

It does not seem right to use the same dosage / mixes for veg and bloom. As NPK requirements change from veg to bloom. Which make me think "I need Dyna Bloom" yet after all the research I have done...hardly anyone uses the bloom. huh?

Anything else you might add to the mix (I read that some swear by Foliage pro" and their silica stuff)

...I am looking to save by going with Dyna-gro however I'm also in the pursuit for that perfect nute mix for veg and flower. I don't mind buying their entire line as long as I don't kill my babies due to no concrete feeding sch. Seems like it would be in Dyna's best interest to put out a chart like FF to get more of our business.

After reading your posts I decided to make Dyna nutes by base. Then did some research to find EVERYONE has their own Dyna "formula" and Dyna's chart is wack for Cannabis.

I really like Dyna's concentration ratios...shit is the BEST bang for the buck. It's just the OCD side of me wants a EXACT concrete feeding scheduled (veg and bloom) for their line.

DG Soil.jpg

DG has a soil schedule, tho I find the mix to be a lil on the light side. and you really do need to run a cpl ml of grow during bloom, if your going to use bloom.
