don't pay attention to that guy, especially when he goes into the cfl forum and says cfl's are crap..wtf?!
I didn't even know he was a moderator till you pointed it out, lol..... cfl aint crap. cfl's have it's purpose in the grow world

And opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one, and everyone thinks that everyone elses' stinks.
If cfls are all you can afflord they don't suck, having nothing to grow with would suck.
When I can afford HID, i'm sure I will think cfls suck.
But till then, i'm loving cfls.

Yes. That's what pissed me off. I see this sort of shit all the time here - from newbies and asshole members. I just ignore it or sometimes throw out some sarcastic response. This time, I was about to just skip over it and move on, and then I noticed "moderator".
This is not about lights. It is about trolling behavior. What is next? Mods going into the hydro section and responding to every post, "hydro is crap - soil is where it is at"?
You want to debate lights in some other section, fine. Although "it is crap" isn't really debating. When I point out something is crap, I back it up with reasons and links.
So, yeah, I'm a bit frustrated. I'm not hurt because I use CFL - I want better, one day. I know what I have and what I don't. I'm frustrated because of the trolls. And I'm pissed, in big part, because a moderator is one of them. Seriously, if it was just "that guy", I would have forgotten about it the minute I went to the next thread.

well it is about lights, lol.
but I understand where you are coming from. the trolling behavior. the best thing to do is report the post and a mod/mods will be alerted. or shoot me a pm and I'll look into it. but it would be better to inform a mod of that particular forum of a members behavior..
