Precisely the problem. We all think we know it all and we haven't a clue yet. We are all still throwing words like 'mycorrhiza' about when we only have the beginnings of an idea how such things work. We've only just started playing with compost teas ffs.
One day, we may fully understand and then, we will realise that the whole hydro-v-organic thing was the daftest argument ever. It's just a case of learning, understanding and using both. Unfortunately, we simply haven't got the knowledge yet.
Some of us think we have, but we haven't.

i see your point.. but after you do something for years... and years... and years.... i mean we are growing a plant... even thought you might not know all the details behind every single thing.. . i'll believe whoever have more experience.... just because any intelligent person have the ability to master something with practice... and if the person is educated about the topic.. u know... the problem is.. doing the opposite pretty much is an act of arrogance if you can't back it up with facts... and conflict begins...

If some of you guys treated "it" like a cucumber (although tomato would be mo' fittin'), you might have some success.

This plant and its effects have been researched to death by everyone but you. You have a lot to learn. Get to work.

OK Potpimp you little weasel deleting posts like that. Delete his post too.

@Potpimp, since when is this your forum and what now, are you going to attempt another fascist stunt like when you said you would delete any threads regarding Advanced Nutrients? You are the one that starts shit. BTW, post count has nothing to do with credibility. Look at your post count...
Yes, MY forum; it's MY forum to mod, along with the rest of the General Marijuana Growing forum moderators, the globals and the admin, so get used to it. If it's not "my" forum then where is your ranting post where you insulted Uncle Ben? Oh, I deleted it because it IS my forum. Are you still butt-hurt over my thread about "advanced noots"? Yep, I started it and I deleted it too but I got my point across. I hate it when people like you, suckers for A.N. hold a grudge against people like Uncle Ben and myself for TRYING to save you money and help you grow better plants. Go ahead, waste your money; I could care less. I joined two months after FDD but I don't post a lot. It's people like you that have ran off several of the best growers in the country. I'm here to stop that.

I have yet to see how urea is so bad when the growing environment is conducive to metabolizing it. It does help feed 6 billion people too.

UB: I have researched ammoniacal Nitro and found it does not like cool weather. Although it is common knowledge and suggested that "cool" means under 60 f or so. I have observed that more like below 72 degrees this form of N has a hard time with MJ . That is my beef with Dyna. What % ammoniacal N in hydro do you find as too much in your experience?
If you're worried about ammonical nitrogen and low temps, read this again: http://www.greenhouse.cornell.edu/crops/factsheets/nitrogen_form.pdf

To avoid ammonium toxicity it is recommended to use fertilizer with 40 percent or less ammoniacal nitrogen when growing conditions are cool and wet. When cold gray weather occurs a common strategy used by growers is to alternate to a 15-0-15 “Dark Weather Forumla.” This eliminates the extra ammonium input temporarily, but then allows growers to return to their normal formula when growing conditions improve.
Is your grow room cool and wet? Not to fear, DG is 1/3rd ammoniacal and 2/3rds nitrate which makes them 'pH perfect' in hydro without all the high-priced hype and watery products. So what was your problem with them again?

Mod's don't just randomly delete posts. At least not from what I have seen. If the moderator had to moderate, there was probably a reason.

There have been several times where I bout left the board because of certain members. Glad I stuck around, because the mods took care of that problem.

What is your problem? I am trying to be as cordial as possible but you start throwing insults. Potpimp is a little yes man so he will probably delete this post too as I tell the truth:
You are a obnoxious man with an over-inflated ego. Keep calling people "kiddies" and throw your Gump quotes helps nothing. Are you capable of conversing in a pleasant manner at all?
As someone who hires and fires, I would never hire you because of your obnoxious high-nose attitude and the ostensible chip on your shoulder of some kind. Please give others some credit. You give a bad representation as a seasoned professional (I say professional with much reservation). Is mention of your handle in an MJ book the extent of your life accomplishments? Get off your high horse, I'm not impressed.

1. Your contradicting yourself by saying that. I see plenty of name calling in your post. Conversing in a pleasant manner? Looks to me like you're adding fuel to the fire and you're diggin' yourself a hole here.

2. potpimp doesn't stick his nose in your business unless there is a reason to. You obviously gave him a reason.

3. Employers like you are the worst. Don't forget, some of the best workers have the worst attitudes. Piss them off enough and they will get some major work done.

I said I experience low N processing at 72 and below. Not Cornell. I am at the mercy of my environment indoors in my living space and 72 is too low with Dyna. Sorry, your nute does not suit me, so call me stupid.

Some yes, but usually they are poor team players. Get it? Live with that fact. You have to get along also.

You're kidding right? My guess is you're BARELY old enough to be in this forum, 25 tops. What you have a coffee hut or something and a barista? Kiddo, I've owned franchises that cost more than your home and I've ran big companies and hired and fired hundreds of people; that doesn't mean diddly squat. But this isn't about me; I've got more ass than you have teeth so keep on chewing. I'm amused at your claims conflicting with your infantile name calling; that is so incongruous and out of character for a high ranking executive. I'm sure Uncle Ben is amused too. I'd better let you get back to your cfl grow.

Let me explain this to you, from the blue collar world I live in. If you can't hang without having someone to hold your hand, you probably shouldn't be a blue collar worker.

Give me an apprentice to bring me my tools and clean up my trash and leave me the hell alone so I can get my work done. Some people work WAY better alone or with 1 other person. Save the team talk for your fast food crew that you run dude.

So you got an ounce out of your cfl grow? Wow I didn't know advance noots could produce that much bud. Don't spend that all in one place; you won't get another allowance from mommy for a few days.
