Carnita bowls! I haven't made them for awhile. My sister made a batch of carnitas so I decided to put together a master piece.

I have tortillas molds for making tortilla bowls.

The meat will rest on a bed of Spanish rice then topped with guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream.

I saw a commercial for those things and it looks like one of the few decent products they spew on TV. Did you get that cut and measure thing too? Do the bowls work well? Does the cutting thing work well too because that also looks pretty sick, chop some veggies and measure at the same time. Oh and the carnita bowls look delicious!

The bowls work great. I use them all the time. I haven't used the cut and measure utensils yet. I'm pretty particular about my chopped vegetables. The picture is actually Fajitas but I'll take a picture of the finished product tonight when I'm done. I'm doing the prep work now and will start cooking in about 20 minutes barring any unforseen accidents.

Well I missed Thanksgiving this year. I was feeling down chatting on toke & talk when Hepheastus420 said most people don't even know why they have thanksgiving anymore and that I should cook my own turkey for the hell of it.
I did just that.
Brined that slick bitch in a salt, brown sugar, orange, apple, little lemon, fresh rosemary + Thyme, peppercorn bath

Was my first turkey so it can only get better from here. And it IS tasty.
Did some mashed potatoes but didn't get around to the stuffing.
Turkey is long gone now.
Props to Heph for the great idea.
:peace:

easy meal tonight. Tostadas w/ Spanish rice (from yesterday) and Posolé. Dessert was caramel flan and virgin sangria for the beverage.
