Best way to get past Nute Lock Out

Say you have a plant that is starting to show signs over overwatering in a large 7 gal pot, it hasn't needed water for 8 days and still doesn't. Clearly its locked out.

What method do you use to get her drinking again or at that point do you write her off and move her to the side?

I rarely have this happen but ive found lately this works well.

1. Take a bamboo support stick and poke 20-30 holes THROUGH the roots from the top. All over. Flush with Florakleen or equivelent.

2. Get 3 gallons of water and add a good Mychorizzae to the water

3. Water and leave it alone.

I have had this bring back some pretty fucked up plants within 5-7 days.

How about you guys?

I have created a recovery room for plants that seem on the verge of death but still have a little fight in them. The first thing that I do is put on music. My favorite and the one that seems to have the most beneficial effect is: Moonlight Sombra by a band called Bavarian Madness. Next I make some tea for me and the plants. Usually Chamomile with Borage and Pansy. Then I put on my wizard robe, it has designs of wizards on it and it is soooo comfy and spray then with hamster semen diluted 9-1. I will then sleep. When the finches wake me from my slumber the fairies have cured the plant and left a hefty bill and usually drink all the beer. This works for me.

See...thats what I USED to do but....well....the old lady shrunk my robe.

I am very sorry to hear of your robe shrinkage. Christmas is coming and sometimes good gardeners get what they wish for. I'm just sayin'

Too much fert= nute burn

You are combining 2 different things.

If you think your plant is locked then it wont be growing
