I always thought Platinum was the name a grower put on his product when it finally comes out right and he can sell it at a decent price to the dispensary.

That's almost always the case, as in "Platinum Bubba Kush", "Platinum Blue Dream" etc. However, I've seen a cut passed around the circle called "Platinum OG" that is a big yielder and definitely not just a pure OG. I was told it's something like Afghani x OG Kush

I've got a clone of that from them earlier this year, I can tell you that it's nothing special AT ALL. Horrible Yield, No smell to it, looks pretty though. I'll go Grab a shot of it for you

It looks pretty but the buds are miniscule compared to everything else in my garden and they really have almost no smell to them at all.
The plant grew really lanky as well with pretty weak stems

Hard to get them without getting ripped off. MOst of the time if your going to spend 10-50 bucks its fake and not the real ishh..I personally have steered away from cookie strains in the past 6 months because of the over amount of people trying to grow it..i can get the real deal clones but no one wants to pay 100 bucks a clone that why i stick to my strains i have and I'm a happy grower.

In my opinion, yes. Dark heart is dropping it altogether from what I hear.
To clarify what I meant by that is that it is not special in any way compared to other OG's. Similar potency to your average OG, inferior flavor.

I really can't post pics of flavor unless you have ways to smell/taste though your monitor.
It's clone only, there are no phenos. And I don't have it, I just see it pass through dispensaries a lot and it is bullshit compared to other OG's. I can think of at least 10 different OG's that are superior to it in every way, so this strain is irrelevent and should go away. It's a junk strain. It's one of those strains that came up not because it's superior, but because it was something different to sell to clubs. Different isn't always better and this strain certainly isn't an improvement on OG Kush.
It's dogshit because there are 50 other strains very similar to it and almost all of them are superior. Also, everything I've seen bread to white fire OG turns to shit.
Iv never grew her myself, she has.not.yet came.to the rotation. But a couple locals have found good phenos in their pack. And decent yeilders. The flavor mostly comes from the fire oG. Cuz i love the taste of that oG cut specially.
And yes you heard me.right, oG raskal has them as FEM seeds. I asked what pheno you had Cuz maybe you grabbed it from thag random collective you said their dropping.
Cuz maybe they had Kromes WiFi that he found from his pack that he Calls WiFi #3. Thats the pheno everyoneone talks about. But wont get......why.....cuz.their fem.seeds.and have tons of variation.
Inless some ones gots connection with Krome n then gave it to the masses then you wont be able to get it.
Its raskals fire oG cut X Kromes "the white" clone.only cut from florida. Geneitcs are unkown.
