leaf tips curling up ?

i had a look in the FAQ but confused me
my leafs are curling up on the top leafs why is this ?
i dont want them 2 die

hi from what i now when leaves are curling up on the tips and edges of the leaves it could be a (mg) magnesium deficiency. to fix this problem you can add a small amount of Epsom salt to a spray bottle of water and folier feed it. with means to spray it on the top and under side of the leaves this is the fastest way for the (mg) to reach the plant.

If it was a MG deficiency, the leaves would be discolored. But watch them closely because this could be a sign that they are about to get bad. I think they can also do that when they get too hot. How hot is it in there?

They are just happy. Mine do that sometimes in the mornings and through out the day.

If they were over watered, the leaves would curl down.

Then most likely they are fine or if it is a MG problem, watch the leaves and you will know. They will be discolored starting at the tips and eventually will works it's way through the rest of the leave

Going by the pics, they are fine.

I get 'odd' leaves but don't jump the gun. Wait things out. nature has a way of curing itself.

I've had leaves curl up down, pucker up, pucker back, spots here, droops there, etc. But the plant is just fine overall. If all the leaves have the prob, take note. But one out of 30? The genetics of the inbreeding.

From the medical growers bible. Chapter 11, Water & Nutrients, page 256 (caption under a picture of a plant with curling edges or fringe):

"Leaf fringe standing up - leaf fringes that point up mean the leaf is trying to dissipate as much moisture as possible, but is unable to. This could be caused by toxic salt buildup, lack of water or heat stress"

Check your PH & PPM.. if you are watering correctly and heat is correct then it sounds like it's salt build up (which I understand to be a pretty common problem).

noobie here, but i would say they are fine unless color starts to change.. then id either say the heat from light or underwater maybe ... idk

sounds like your light could be too close. what are you using and how far from the top is it?

When my leaves curled up on me this was due to an improper pH level in the soil. The soil pH I had was to basic and not acidic enough. What is your pH is it between 5.8 and 6.0? If not change the water to get you pH levels right and it will make a difference.

When the leaves curl, I think your grow area is too hot try cooling them a bit.

move the light away slightly only a bit light is too close but if there not burning... its fine

mine did that it was the light being to close shortly after that i notice the leaves were drying out too.. moved the light away and soon after it fixed the problem
