Langbeinite for supersoil

Has anyone added langbeinite to super soil? Do you think super soil needs it? if so, how much? Thanks
 
Never used or heard of it. This looks like a good start reading about water soluable form.

Cal/mag or Epsom salt seems to be the most popular choice. Cal mag is horribly overpriced. I believe epsom salt is better because it actually helps remove built up salts from ferts.
 
it's not in the recipe.... don't over think it. follow instructions and you will get good results.
 
Why must everyone be so difficult?

It's a proven formula, why try and figure something else out.... then you will just come back here asking us for help with your SS being all jacked up.

I am assuming this is your first go around with SS too?

Because its all about improving. What if we stopped advancing television sets in the 90s. Like oh that's as good as its going to get. We wouldn't have flat screen. If its too difficult to improve, then you are simple. And I would much rather be difficult and better, then simple and static.
 
he isn't attempting to improve, he is attempting to copy the recipee on the new TGA bags, lol..... that I have and am using now, lol.

I am not saying things cant be improved or improvised on, it's just the same thing.... does SS need anything more than what is on the recipe? simple.... no.


also, the extras there are for my green house, btw.
 
geek, i think he is wondering because it is listed on the new tga charge, but not in subs original recipe, remember most growers can't get it yet, and have to stick to mixing up from scratch....if its in the new bag, and not in subs recipe..... it must be an improvement made by dioxide etc.....so it's a valid questin imho....
 
I think it is too, no doubt a good question for its uses.

I wasn't indenting to be a dick (at least at first)

But someone experienced with SS would know it isn't necessarily needed. that's why I assumed the nobleness. The constant wondering why there isn't more Potash in the recipe is always funny.
 
seems like a solid source of slow release k and magnesium sulfate. time and fulvic acid to unlock this rock. will be more beneficial with recycling. 10# a yard i think

wow, that seems like a lot....i picked up some gypsum today for my recycling project....
