My experience with molasses is that it creates firm dense nuggs!
And things said like THIS, is why Rollitup is no where NEAR as informative/educated as GC (GrassCity)! Period.

Molasses doesn't just MAGICALLY make "GIANT, DONKEY DICK, SUGAR LOADED, SWEET, TASTE LIKE MAPLE SYRUP NUGGGGZZZZZ!!!!". :wall:

... Just GOOGLE IT!!!!! And look for ACTUAL botanical, side by side, chemistry type of articles... regarding the subject of course! Not a FORUM full of people saying how "delicious" it makes their "MASSIVE NUGZ". Jeez Louis. Stick to :fire: the weed and not :weed: the weed - because molasses used in a SOIL GROW is NOT used for this purpose ("making buds taste better" - not EVEN CLOSE!!!) WHATSOEVER!!!!!!!!

if yer buds arent awesome a couple week after harvested molasses wont do anything but cause more issues.
try better light, temps, fertilizer, humidity, air quality, c02 augmentation, avoid flint water.
it feeds the soil micro beasts.....not the plant geesh. I've tasted the shit in others herb and its stupid it sucks too.
I grow really good mj in soil and I dont use molasses ever.

I used molasses last summer on my outdoor grow
About 1 spoon full per 5 gallons of water
Be sure to mix in warm water or it won't dissolve

I use molasses strictly for my beneficial teas now, and i run mg teas until 2 weeks before harvest. So they are grtting the molasses but most of it will be used up by the benis in the tea.

the free flow of misinformation whets the whistle in these parts

this was not a lie. i put molasses in the water before watering and the plants looked way better by the afternoon.

could've been due to another factor but that day the only thing that changed was I used molasses.

you can choose not to believe me I don't give a damn.

I stand by what I said because it is true.

I would first think it was just time to water.
by the time my plants need watering they look better an hour afterwards too, plain water even.

molasses is some sugar beneficial organisms can use, not plants. In healthy soil those beneficial orgs are
already eating properly in a perfect ratio to environment.
When you load sugars in a pot the population
explodes then dies off completely. Its a ridiculous unhealthy cycle easily avoided by keeping your soil properly fed with real
organic matter and let it and the plant do what they know how to do.
If you have molasses burning a hole in your pocket know that a drop in a 5 pail will feed orgs very well when making teas, if thats your thing.

true.

I did not put molasses in the soil directly. it was 1 or 2 spoonfulls per gallon. then measured the PH to make sure everything was good..... and only once a week....... rest of the time it's just plain water and nutes as usual.

haven't grown inside in a while I live in place where medicinal marijuana is legal, and you don't need weird permits and ID cards, not even a doctors visit.... the babies are outside on the patio...

i don't need to resort to all sorts of weird science to optimize the plants....it is more of a hobby than an actual supply source now.....can have up to 20 plants at a time, I only keep 2, reason being I have a wife and a kid now so I have less and less time every day that passes. and I can actually talk about cannabis plants openly at the - not have to use some weird obfuscated storejargon that nobody understands.... what a difference that makes....

I think if you add you buds to these molasses recipes they'll taste way sweeter ;)

Regarding the Biobizz line (where both grow and bloom nutes are used in flower period).
I've had their Reps state: "use the Grow (molasses based) nitrogen nute in bloom. As it makes the buds taste better then if you use our Fish Mix in bloom". They seemed to suggest the macro life waste/broken down matter would have a profile that (when it's constituents were absorbed by the plant) created better tasting buds.
I didn't have the knowledge to challenge the Rep on that info ..but it could also explain (in part) why the idea still goes around the forum community. From whats been posted so far i assume that was just a 'line' by the rep :)

Yes.

And if you roll out a pastry, stuff the entire thing in there, sprinkle with powdered sugar and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, then stuff it in your garden and cover with Bama grape jam, it'll be even better!
