reflective material question...

I have used the emergencey blankets with no real heat problems, but I am growing with cfls, I have a friend that grows also inside a closet, he just staples superwhite printer paper to the walls, and it is much brighter in his room than mine, and no fire hazard since the cfls dont get hot enough to ignite paper... may give it a shot

yeah but paper gets wet and nasty and will harbor things that like wetness, mold for example. ever hear of gray mold? if you ever get it you'll be sorry you went cheap-ass at this stage of your grow.

was going to use it in a little veg room I am designing not to be cheap but to experiment, and I dont know about you but my grow area stays clean and I have never watered my walls, but thanks all the same

if you foliar feed, you water your walls. if you keep the humidity as high as you should for vegging, your walls will be wet. you're welcome.

hi,
i am using a cfl bulb in a lamp with a timer on 18 hours a day, will my bulbs be ok to run 18 hours a day or should there be an off period in the middle or something? i know they dont get that hot but still it is a long time to leave them on, what do you think?

No problem, you can run them 24/7 if you want. It won't do any harm , and even if life expectancy of the bulbs is shortened they are cheap enuff to replace.
