So, here is the update of my nute problem.
I'm starting to worry, because the lower fan leaves are wilting too much, and all of their tips are burned and brown. All the upper leaves are fine. Yesterday I gave just water. I didn't flush, I just watered till there was water running from the bottom of the pot. Please tell me if you think it's serious and what should I do.

I also noticed a couple of insects flyin around the box and sitting on the leaves or underneath the leaves. Please tell me if it's something I should worry about as well. I took a close pic of it so you can see what I'm talking about. Tomorrow I'm building a new box, so I'll try to make it cleaner and keep them outside.

I'm waiting for your heeeelp!!!

PS - For pics that was taken before the problem, please have a look at my journal. it's in my signtature!!!

ok here's some help

1 - Don't mist your plants if your going to put them back into direct light
2 - Thoes burned tips are ok just as long as they don't get worse
3 - if it starts to burn more then the tips then I'd do a fluch

Those burned tips are actually good news in a way IF they don't get worse. You now know about the max you can fert if you are watching the TDSs.

Thank you so much FrostickZero!!!
I may overreact but I'm sure you know how a newbie thinks..

1 - I didn't know that. It was the first time that I misted the plant. I'll be careful the next.
2 - thank you. it's nice knowing that things aren't that bad.
3 - I'll keep an eye and see how it's going.

The insect I noticed, I guess it's not big deal since you didn't mentioned it.

That's the good news...
I've mixed half of the suggested ratio and I got this. Next time I'll go with 1/4 and see how it goes then.
Also, my tap water's pH is around 7.5 so I'm bringing it down to 6.5. I mixed the nutes with the 6.5 water. Is it possible that the nutes lowered more the pH?

What are the TDSs?

yeh you didnt need to flush coz it aint that bad,the new growth looks healthy enough so its nothing to worry about, just cut out a feed then continue like normal with a slightly lower dose, always ph the water after you add nutes,,,,,,,,,,,,,peace

I'd pH the water before the nutes because I'm using pH drops (from the pet shop). So I'm telling the pH depending on the color of the water after I put the pH drops. The water, after I add the nutes, isn't crystal any more. So I don't know if the drops test will show the right color. I guess I have to buy a pH pen!!

What are the TDSs?

TDS=Total Dissolved Solids. For our purposes, how much nutes are in the water. Instead of relying on 1/4 cup or whatever this meter tells you how much nutes you can add.

Nutes will often change the PH. Check the PH after you add the nutes.

thanx Picasso.
I'm looking for a pH pen right now. I can't rely to the drops anymore. Hope I'll find something not so expensive!!

If you don't mind using eBay, they have them pretty cheap. You need calibration fluid too, lol-it never ends.

thanx a lot Picasso.
I'm trying to find a good deal on eBay. I'll let you know what I'll find.

Cheers...

I bought this pH meter on ebay. I'll be watching my pH closer from now on.
