OK!!! ROUND #2 officially under way!! Got all the males out :/ ...4 out of 10 were females, we have the TD 12-12 clone that is slowly doing it's thing, I put it in the big ass pot. I also transplanted the revegged SLH (not quite revegged but hopefully that will do!!!), just hoping for 1 nice bud out of it. There is a small set of leaves that seems to be coming out normally... time will tell. So anyway, everything is just starting to bud, (except the SLH put 12-12 last night) It should be interesting to see what happen. It might be more like a 4-5 oz yield this time but we shall see. I cleaned the room but I have not gotten to the lights, I will probably move them around a bit. I had the wide angle lens on the camera this morning...

the 3 plants that vegged for 3 weeks were all males!! so it's all 12-12 from seeds here

The BM weights 143 grams at the moment, safe to say it's about 1/4lbs when fully dried, really happy with this one! The Grapefruit taste better though.

Ok, here is a picture with saying which plant is which (lost track of strain, the only one I know for sure is in the big container in the back right corner of the room ... its a Chemo)

20-1-2012.jpg

#1, this one is having a tough time, somewhat healthy but its been growin really funky leaves...

20-1-2012-11111.jpg20-1-2012-1111.jpg

#2 is doing really good, I suspect its a conKushion

20-1-2012-222.jpg

#3 also doing really well, I think it's a Chemo

20-1-2012-333333.jpg20-1-2012-33333.jpg

#4 is the Chemo for sure, a strong plant!! I made a mistake trying to do some bending... see the drawing!! It broke, I went to rip the head off but I realised it was solid on one side so I just used a little metal string to hold it down, ( it really sucks cuz this plant was the biggest strongest... ) the flower sitting perpendicularly. Well the next time the light went on 12 hours later the flower was straight up!! all is not lost! it might very well recover and give me a really fat cola!!

#5 is not moving much... nothing to say!

20-1-2012-55555.jpg20-1-2012-555.jpg

#6 might be a waste of time, I dont know yet... I shocked the roots a bit when re-re-re-re transplanting it hehe... hopefully it will produce a nice cola... love the high and smell of SLH

Not much is going on at this point... kind of boring actually and they really dont seem to get that stretch... Here is a few pics from the previous harvest... I got more of the AK in a ziploc bag elsewhere ,... that's what I am smoking now but still it's going down! Well actually I am smoking a bit of every strain now hehe... AK=most potent Grapefruit=Best Taste, smoother buzz BM=Best overall for being almost as potent as the AK and as tasty as the Grapefruit. On the pics I would say about 8grams of the BM are missing ,,... so probably a few grams shy of a 1/4 lbs plant! and it's very dry hehe

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! those little mother fuckers! hehe I got fungus gnats, I want to make sure the problem is solved before I go away, I dont want my girlfriend to have to deal with this so I bought Azamax, the flowers are still small enough I think so anyway, tonight I will spray, how many days should I wait before I do it again? I also bought Cal-Mag... I will take pics later I don't think they changed much, I am not so sure about 12/12 from seeds, not with my soil recipe anyway, it's great for now coze I don't have the time but it's not my new way to grow, next fall I will go back to long vegging.

Everything i have ever 12/12 from seed , has been a big fail ,
i grew some nice looking small typed bonzai buds that looked pretty but weighed at the most 14grams a plant,
i have seen what some people get though , with no spec treatment to speak of , and this makes you want to try it ,
seed's aint cheap, quality anyway ,
i will never bother again unless forced to grow in a shoe box and a joint a day!,

yes like I said now it's time constraint so it works out good, but it's a bit discouraging! I would see people online getting 2oz dry per plant 12/12 from seeds and thought I would get the same results!! hehe, not to mention it might be easier to get better results 12/12 when doing hydroponic or just with regular nutrients also, but supersoil just needs time!

those are fungus gnats right?

temps around 68-75 RH 35% when lights on and temp 64-70 RH upto 80% when lights are off... decent venting too, I got 2 oscillating fans but since the plants were small, I was waiting to introduce a small third fan (plus 6''inline...bringing cold fresh air from outside)

hps are about 12'' from the top of the plants now, maybe just under, 2x400W .... I heard subcool mention something about this happens when the strain doesnt like the supersoil or the supersoil is too hot, but I don't think my soil is too hot!

those could be root aphids you should look around in the top layer of your soil maybe even with a scope. if they try and run from you when they see you, and then fly away, its probably not fungus gnats.

OK! A few questions today!!First, does it look like I got too much light going? ( I know no such thing as too much light but with the 2 LEDs and a bunch of spectrums that crosses with the HIDs!! )
000001.jpg0000011.jpg0000010.jpg000002.jpg

What in the World did this!?
000007.jpg

Is this root ok?
000004.jpg

Somebody mentioned heat stress, but I see the same thing at different height of the plants which makes me think the soil might be too hot? nothing I cant do anything about it if thats the case...

I didnt really get an answer but I assume it was from the lights... since i put the fero further back, everything is doing very well. The TD is taking its time, I am finally getting to see some frost on it!! Other than the TD and the SLH, each plant might grow into one massive bud!!! stay tuned!!
