2x 1000w HPS electrical problems

I have two 1000w grow lights in my 5x9 grow tent, however, I am only running one right now because when I run a vacuum cleaner or flip one too many light switches the circuit breaker flips. I want to get my other 1000w running but really need some advice on how to run both of them safely. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

add a 20 amp outlet buy a 20 amp breaker and 12/2 100ft wire run it and bodda boom u can run 1900 watts on that outlet alone if u keep on fliiping the other breaker the amps go down so everytime it flips u lose an amp i would change that breaker if i wass u also

lol ya or you can just run the other 1000w on a different breaker....like the guy above side...... run 1000w on one circut and run the other 1000w on the other circut....problem solved...

P.s. you goin need an extention cord.......

or you could pigtailed off your dryer main and install a sub service panel and run it 220v and save your electrical panel from catching on fire i have seen breakers fuse together from being over loaded too many times, never and i repeat never use any extension cord with any hid lighting system, it will catch on fire use quality timers too i have seen many outlets go up in smoke from a timer failing

u save more money but u can also burn ur house dwn tis y i said just add another breaker or wat he^ said would be a smater disession

I would agree that using a heavy duty extinsion cord isnt ideal but its not just going to catch on fire just becuase you say so.....Ive been running one of my 1000watss off an extension cord for a year now so i can have access to my other breaker in a different room......havent had any problems...no fires no shorts no nothing......

So win you say "never" I disagree with you.......

its tru just make sure the 1k watt is all u have pluged in i rather b safe than sorry but if ur only running the light on that cord than i guess u should be good but like i said i rther be 100% safe than srry

I have had all sorts of cheap crap go out on me from overload. Timers, surge protectors, shit.... havent killed an extention cord yet tho.

I have the same problem in my room, I cant run a vaccumm from in there. No worries, the stuff stays on as long as I dont run a vac... I run an extention cord in for that. Vacs are over 1000 watts use if I recall....

ya luckly i have 3 breakers so i run my vaccum on the kitchen breaker and i can still vaccume while im maxing out the other two breakers....and when i say max out i dont mean max out i mean 80% of total amps allowed per breaker.....

^80% is the key, don't go over or you risk a higher chance of it flipping, or worse catching on fire. Someone else just recently posted about how he luckily was home and caught a fire before it got out of control and burned his entire house down. Just be safe.

is the cord warm if so thats the cellulose in the insulation breaking down and will catch fire, i have seen a home burn down from using extension cord for hid lighting i knew the lady as well, so it not speculation i know for fact its a dumb move, if your not an electrician then do not give addvice because if someone takes your addvice and dies in a fire as a result you could fine you butt in jail, like she did

70% as per NESC

I could find my self in jail? lolololol................. So if i tell someone to go break a law and they do then i can be sentenced for the crime?? lol further more my dads electrical engineer and i had him come inspect my set up and like i said its not ideal to have a heavy duty extention cord but he said he sees nothing that jumps out at him that will burn my appartments down... and for you so to say i can be jailed for telling someone that they can use two breakers instead of trying to over load one breaker is about the dumpest thing ive heard today....but hey its still early so i might hear something more dumb by the end of the day......
