Every time you shit you deposit fecal matter into your ear canal? Pretty much... If you smell it is not only on you but in you as well - can't smell it without in-taking some of it. Every time you shit you breath in fecal matter... pretty gross. You're gross. But if I have a Q-tip in my ear I likely get get less fecal matter in it than an unplugged ear - you plug your ears, close your eyes, and stop breathing while you shit, right?

It does feel pretty good...here's a little story tho
3-4 years ago I woke up every morning and I noticed my hearing was getting worse and worse. Then one morning I woke up and couldn't hear ANYTHING. I literally thought I woke up deaf....
Apparently it was an ear infection in both ears...getting my ears cleaned out was the greatest feeling ever. 100x better than q-tipping my ears. I had so much nasty shit in my ears...
