Coming along great - what's your ppms running at? With a 6.5 pH, you must not be using much fnb yet...?
Ppm is holding steady at 350. I'm only using 1/4 tsp per gal of nova bloom. Next res change I'm gonna do 1/2 tsp per gallon and stick wth 2 tsp of micro.

Changed res upped ppms to 425. 2 tsp of micro and 1/2 tsp of NB per gallon. pH is down to 6.1. Will post a pic here in a little while. Debating if I should run it another full week or switch to flower on Monday. I'll let the fellow waterfarmers help me decide on that. I'm in no rush this time around.

if you have the time and your in no rush why not go the extra week. 1 week = tons of growth and tons of new bud sites

I vegged my Strawberry Diesel to 8" if I remember right, ended up being 20" tall, even with a scrog. The Ice is only 5" tall right now but it's pretty damn wide, a lot wider than the SD was at the same stage. I have a feeling she's gonna stretch like mad when I switch. Every leaf on it stretches out so far to fight for as much light as it can get. I'm letting the ice grow more natural because I'm gonna top it about a week or so into 12/12. As much as I don't want to (I hate veg, so boring) I'll probably go one more week with her. *sad face*

she sure is a shorty nice and stocky though that stem looks decent. i think the extra yeild you get by going just one more week will be worth it.

Meh, still may move into a new house. Plants aren't exactly on hold but we're trying to hold that off until Spring time. I'm using micro partly because I had it laying around and I said what the hell, but also I'm pretty sure I read Dayzt used it so that helped a bit. It's been all but good things since I've used it so I'm happy. Not gonna go more than 2 tsp per gallon of it though. Going to let her go one more week! She's so big already but I want to let it go 5 weeks because I've never vegged a plant that long before usually 3-4. Am really excited to see how she grows in the next 7 days. Did a bit of my own version of lst. It's more less tucking and weaving than lst since I don't use tie downs. I just move the big leaves out of the way so the smaller branches get enough light to grow past them, seems to be working very well with the Ice. I stole Kritz's idea for holding the screen, but I'm cheap so I found these 50 cent clamps that work pretty well. The screen is light enough to where it won't move it but I have 4 more so I'm gonna use them to keep the screen from moving upwards.
PPM is down to 390. Was 425 yesterday, pH is 6.4
I also want to say with the Waterfarms, I think nute burn is pretty serious, I took a peek at my roots a little bit ago and they are massive, 2-3 times the size the SD was at the same stage of growth and I think that is directly attributed to the fact that I used too many nutes too early on. I'm not sure if they fully recover from nute burn because even at harvest the roots weren't as massive as some other WF grows on here. Basically what I'm getting at is keep those ppms down and don't push nutes.

Thanks for the sub! The ppms went back up to 440 this morning. Anywho, I wanted to show a picture comparison of my Strawberry diesel with a 28 day veg and the Ice on 28 day veg.

Way less Nova Bloom and I'm using Flora Micro, last grow I only used NB. Right now I'm at 1/2 tsp per gallon of NB and 2 tsp of Micro. Mixed up a batch for when I'm switching to flower it's 1tsp of NB and 2 tsp of Micro. So far she's showing 0 nute burn which is great. The SD last grow had quite a bit of nute burn and took a while to recover from it. Other than that I'm not really doing much different. Covered the res to keep the splash down and the gnats from trying to live in my tent. Put the inline fan in a box which makes it so much quieter. Oh and I'm gonna veg this one a week longer than the Strawberry Diesel. At least that's the plan. Today is 29 days from sprout.

When I get my micro should I start off with a fresh batch of 1 tsp per 2 gallon to introduce it lightly?
I'm not going to give her any FNB for at least another week or two. Talked with Dayzt and he said to take it easy with the neuts aswell. Going to increase her slowly with increases of 50/100 PPM.
I would love a RO system but I have to make do with tap water stood out in a box for a couple of days. I get a reading of 200 PPM from the tap water. When taking tests from the the WF res it's readings are 350 PPM. Going to be a bit complicated but i'm sure i'll get my head around it. If not, this forum and it's amazing people will help me out, lolz.

Good thinking. I'll look around to find some distilled water. Yeah having 200 PPM tap water jump to 350 is a bit nuts. That's with no neuts aswell.
