Why AzCS might not be all about compassion......

someone lied to me and said there are NO outdoor grows allowed in AZ. i felt really bad for them. then this guy cleared it up for me. he did just help me and i am grateful.

you all are very transparent in your behavior.

sounds like all the same stuff we heard in cali 10 years ago. i can tell you what happens. ;)
i didn't lie! i misunderstood! when i read that a grow had to be locked up, i thought in terms of indoors. a friend in california has a grow enclosed by a relatively cheap chain link fence. where ever you are appears to allow for outdoor grows with no restrictions on locking them up. below is the FYI on growing outdoors from our dept of health services.

someone said you could do a greenhouse (huge pain in the ass) OR a 10 foot wall. i don't believe that is the correct interpretation. i believe it's a locked greenhouse OR a greenhouse that is surrounded by walls. i may be over thinking this, but i used to write gubment contracts, and i know how lawyers can interpret one seemingly clear statement in at least a couple of different ways.

CU05: Can cultivation be done in a greenhouse?

Cultivation must be done in "an enclosed, locked facility." A greenhouse is included in the definition of "enclosed, locked facility". However, to meet the definition of "enclosed, locked facility," the greenhouse must be equipped with "locks or other security devices that permit access only by a cardholder" or surrounded by "solid 10-foot walls constructed of metal, concrete, or stone that prevent any viewing of the marijuana plants, with a one-inch thick metal gate."

the more i think about it, i stand by my original answer, no, we can't grow outdoors! we can grow in a greenhouse. this is not outdoors. this is in an enclosed green house. i win! :)

Fat u get up to early for anyone to get a jump on ya.
it makes me crazy! i started waking up very early to catch the howard stern show back before sirius! i can't get out of the habit. i usually wake up around 5 (which is still too early) but i've been waking up around 3 or 4 the past few months. then i'm usually tired by 9 and asleep soon after. the great thing is, it usually doesn't matter. i'll be up for 12 hours or so and then nap for a couple of hours. smoking dubes the whole way! it's a tough life! :)

you stated that i was a liar. i wanted to clear that up and the i win comment was (humorously) directed towards the guy from azcs for saying that you could grow outside if you had a 10 foot wall after i had said that you couldn't grow outside.

i'm cool with anybody who grows hard! i'm pretty mello. smoking pot for 42 years will do that for a guy! :)

i try to stay out of the fights but i do have questions and coments when i smell what i think may be bullshit or hype. i was a procurement officer for the federal gubment and the equivalent of a chief procurement officer for the state, along with doing procurement work for private companies. i'm very much aware of the costs involved in starting a business and the rules and regs that make things more expensive. $400 for quality pot was plucked out of the air because that's what other states have found people will pay for quality medicine. i'd like to do a cost and price analysis on any of the clubs charging $400. i'll bet the profit margins (or whatever they are legally allowed to call them) are considerable when you strip away the bullshit.

i truly believe that $400 an oz is outrageous! i don't rant about it, i simply won't buy from them. i do know that older folks could easily come to the conclusion that $400 is reasonable, i would prefer that they hear that this is a high price and that there are options, the first of which is a little grow of their own.

i used to sell various substances. i sold whatever for much more than i purchased it for. this high profit margin was a part of the cost of doing bidness. buy, don't buy, i didn't care! it's a sellers market at the moment. if we aren't entirely crushed by the fed or state gubment, the prices will come down. especially when the seniors realize that pot and their veggie garden will go well together.

when the economy was booming several years ago all the clubs in town slowly raised their prices to 65 an 1/8th.

today most clubs in my area are charging 50 - 55 an 1/8th, for the same weed.

i don't know what this means. ;)
