um........you state this as if you show up with 12 plants full of sparkly buds and give it to your caregver. You don't give them anything but protection from law enforcement for doing what your-lazy-self won't..... GROW POT. you patients (type that demand free pot for nothing more then your stupid signature) think you spill some ink and pay the man his 100 bucks and we the caregiver should make it all right wth world for you....get real. To me you're either assuming I'm charging someone tons of cash with all your other pot (how'd you get all this pot when you didn't grow dick anyway???) so.......how's that work? I'm suposed to be a cool cat and just hand you free weed but you assume I'm rich now cuz why? Cuz I charge everyone else BUT you a buttload and make my investment a wash that way? Can't work the way you're thinking. Shows me that you KNOW what I do as a grower is worth a lot right there so why again do you deserve free pot? I got skills and patients that are happy and I get paid every time to offset cost. You free wed guys bitch cuz you're unrealistic. Prolly "heard of a guy" right? His dude prolly gives him 10 oz for free.....an urban myth s an urban myth tho-that guy is full of shit. he doesn't get that deal he tells you about and brth control pills in the dirt doesn't help any plant on earth do anything but die.

OMG, I can't stop! So many people having "trouble" with caregivers only proves you need growers. So why is this site so often used to trash them? And by the sick people who need them most. It's just dirt and light and wait around right? What could be simpler or more cheap? Do it your damn self then and stop trashing a skilled trades provider. Plumbers plumb then you pay them or you don't and your shitter fills up. Bakers bake....then you pay them or you're ass gets no bread. Why such hatered for those providing THIS service?

Iam not talking about you specifically, and by no means should caregivers give it away. iam saying it should be no big deal to give one free ounce a month to your patient and then he has to purchase the rest. whats wrong with that? 3 or 4 free ounces out of each harvest when your gonna have 5 times that amount left over from his 12 plants anyways. also as a caregiver your not supposed to be in it for profits, the donations are supposed to cover your costs.
I grow for myself, so i really have no vested interest either way, just an opinion.

5 patients per caregiver for 60 plants plus the 12 they can grow of their own. 72 total mature and immature.

Yes, I am a caregiver and yes I offer no cost meds to my patients.
My over all costs are only slightly higher then what they were with my personal grow. Maybe $150 more a month for the additional 2 people, so how could I possibly justify charging them for everything.. I can't honestly do that.. Guess the key word is honestly..

im sorry....but if ur growin for me....using my count for ur own profit im not goin to pay u an additional dime.....id take it somewhere else.....to the op sry im not in ur area id help u out.....im one of those rare ppl who just enjoys watching the grass grow......boost my numbers and id absolutely compensate you with what your help yielded

This is just my 2 cents....take it for what its worth. Rasing cannabis plants is just like any other job. You work hard at it, put a big effort in, buy quality nutes and equipment, and in the end, whats wrong with expecting compensation for your time and efforts. Dont get me wrong, as a caregiver if you promise people free pot, you should give them free pot. Dont expect free pot just because i grow it for you. There are differing situations that may inhibit people from growing their own crop(ie sickness and disability) and in those situations heavy discounts should be applied. However, for those of you that have a card and just basically use it to legally consume weed, dont be pissed at me as a grower for charging you for pot. You dont need it, you wont suffer debilitating pain if you dont have it, and marijuana is a commodity that isnt cheap, Period! Im so tired of people expecting something for nothing. If you dont like what youre being charged, start growing. Its very simple. If you cant grow, deal with the prices. Im a fairly new grower and the learning curve has not been kind to me. When i finally get a harvest thats sizeable, theres a TON of things i have to pay off. I couldnt afford to give out free weed.
I just wish people would accept the fact that growing isnt free and just because i grow weed for you doesnt mean that its cheaper for me to grow it. Im not going to give you free weed when it costs me roughly 1000 a month to sustain my grow. Whatever I reap extra, its mine to keep, I deserve it, i worked at growing it, i gave up the space, i gave up the time, i put out the effort, i put out the initial investment. You all may think im being an asshole, but its the truth.
I just wish people would accept the fact that growing isnt free and just because i grow weed for you doesnt mean that its cheaper for me to grow it. thats the thing.....say ur my caretaker.....u keep 1/3 of my harvest (or whatever u decide) but u shouldnt need me to pay an additional $80 a qt (or whatever) .....
which isnt even ops problem.....from what i understand hes not getting anything at all....he even offered to pay for it....

2oz 1 plant easy gives you at least 5 more plants to make up time and costs quit crying.and alot of us grow here so you cant bs about the costs to grow if you cant do the deal dont make it.

Im very up front with anyone that asks me to take on being their caregiver. I tell them up front they will not be getting any free meds from me. That could change if anyone that approached me was sick enough to not grow themselves, but i havent had anyone like that. Im going to charge you a reasonable rate for what i provide you with.
I do agree with OP, he should be given what he was promised. This is why I believe contracts would do wonders for relationships between caregivers and patients. You know exactly what youre getting into ahead of time on both sides. If you make a commitment to a patient as a caregiver, the contract would guarantee that commitment. Likewise, you know as a patient what to expect pricewise from your caregiver. Everything is disclosed up front and agreed upon.

as far as the 1000. electricity aint cheap, i have 4 1000w lights goin and they eat alot of electricity. Im still learning so im using alot of nutes and still buying new equipment(pots, soil, pandafilm, etc). As i get more experienced, that number may go down, but right now its expensive.

was more talking aout street but ether way wasnt tryin to be shitty just doesnt sound right when both the patient and caregiver are giving and getting and its starting to sound like patients are some freeloaders when the caregiver is also benifiting from the agreement. but again not trying to be shitty.
