Spidermites?

If you are trying to get rid of spider-mites and are a competent human being they should be gone within a week. I disagree with you virulient, I used Neem oil and have had success. That being said I did many other things in succession to rid them..
Neem oil might work. If you can kill them ALL quick, before they become immune. On the other hand, if you would've just got a no pest strip and hung it up for 12 hours, they would've been gone. No expensive spray, no spraying down every leaf of every plant or "dunking" your plants into insecticide (I'm sure they LOVE that!). Just 12 hours of a little thing hanging in your room. That's it. You guys can keep talking about your fixes that involve work. I'll do it the easy way.

I've never used a No Pest strip, I would definitely be willing to try though (hopefully I wont need to..)

I agree when using any neem oil or pest deterrent in general, you should use it quick and be done with it. Too many species become immune too quickly.

When I saw my spider mites I did one thing and one thing only, hands on genocide. lol

Maybe the people who are having no success with neem oil are not using it correctly. I dont know it just a though. ... For me neem worked great... I also think its important to feed the plant well and supplement with something like seaweed extract.

All the people having spidermite infestations are missing the obvious,if you make the enviroment unattractive to them they wont get a foot hold in your grow,i had spidermites once, once & thats it.

Increase air flow over, under, around & thru every last plant until every last leaf flutters & thats all you have to do,no shit its that simple,if the leaves have enough moving air the spidermites cant latch on.

A friend of mine who runs several greenhouses showed me this & its been years since ive had a single mite & ive been in a half dozen grow ops that had them & never transfered them to my grow.

Get those plants moving in the breeze & forget about mites forever.
This may be true, my flower room has plentiful air moving, no mites. My mom room no moving air and warm, perfect breeding grounds, has mites. Will cold slow them? I can crank my temps to as low as 40 if I want to.

Again. $8 for a no pest strip is all you need. You can freeze your plants or cause a hurricane in your grow tent. If 1 of them survive they will come right back. I gave you a safe solution where all of them will die in a matter of hours.

There is no "maybe" to it,spidermites are one of the easiest problems to overcome,it boggles me to see so many growers dealing with such a tiny little bump in the road & dealing with it grow after grow.

Flowing air is something a spidermite will not live in,they require still air to latch on comfortably to the leaves,if they cant latch on they cant feed,if they cant feed they cant breed.

All the chemicals & soaps are not needed,if every inch of the grow is being touched by flowing air mites wont live in the grow,if the rest of the room has moving air mites wont live in the room at all.

A few more fans properly placed is all anybody needs to beat mites for good.

I know you didn't want home remedy shit but I have found mad success with this recipe I have made.
It works On Caterpillars, Gnats, Spider mites.
So yeah you dont gotta use it but heres the recipe anyways...

Organic pest spray.
-2 garlic cloves(Remove skin)
-1 lemon (squeeze juice)
-Vinegar (bout a 1/4 cup)
-Hot sauce (pref. Tabasco)[10 Drops]
-H20 (bout a cup)
Mix all ingredients listed above into a blender and blend very well.
Then strain all excess material leaving only the juice.
Pour into a spray bottle! WAHLAH!
Note; If juice looks too red water down the solution.

Apply to underside of leaves or where infection on pest is spray every day until you see desired results.

Hope my organic pest spray recipe helps!

IMO I wouldn't use floramite or avid. You need a special respirator and chemical suit with these products. I had spidermites that were immune to NPS.

Lowering the temp will slow down their reproductive cycle to I believe 30 days instead of 3
You could raise humidity to 100% and they will explode
Co2 needs to be at 10000ppms for 3 hrs, but its dangerous and I wouldn't do it
I used a combination of Mighty Wash, Neem Oil, sns217-Rasta Bobs Death Mite (same thing as sns just more oils), and an insecticidal soap. I used each product in succession for 2 weeks, making sure to get any that hatched. You need to use different products or they'll get immune real fast. I caught mine before flower, In flower I would just use the mighty wash and sns. You could get a sponge and wipe under every leaf, very tedious.

panhead is correct about air flow. I have heard this from another grower from the San Diego area, they got a bad mite problem there I hear. Get a green bamboo shoot and stand it up next to your plant so it is touching the leaves. Put a fan directly on the plant so it is moving around all the leaves. The spidermites should go to the bamboo since it is sturdy, just wipe them off.

Lol sorry if I sound redundant. Every time I type it I'm like "wow, I cant believe I'm still saying this". But people come on here and are like "i sprayed my plants with this and that and killed x amount of leaves and now im trying this". It's not so hard to just try an $8 fix. There's no spraying or bug bombing or anything you actually put on your plant. Yet they all die within 12 hours. Seems like a no brainer.

the best thing to do is clean them first...dank ur plant in the water, make sure u support the tree and the branches, shake off the whole tree, clean underneath the leaves ( thats where they like to hide ) i use cotton dubed in water, i have tried small amount of h202 as well i myt burn a few area of the fan leaves, get a pressurize sprayer and clean them thoroughly again, and everyday i spray underneath the fan leaves. will not work for flowering plant that about to finish, depends how infested ur plant is. if its not to much and its about to finish flowering leave them be, if it has a few weeks or so spray that shit with mild soap diluted in water wait for a day then place them back either in direct sunlight or indoor lighting.

avoiding the pest is best than curing it, you have to clean ur plant regularly, i spray underneath the leaves everyday. those mites hate water.

Did you spray a plant 4 weeks into flower with floramite?

What do ya do if the mites are immune to these end all NPS?

sns 217 is really good stuff, but expensive, and mighty wash is just as good for a decent price per gallon. 35 bucks around here.
