please read all i posted, i have several questions and this is a very critical time for me, first time grower and im veryyyyyyyy nervous about harvesting at the right time

i live in south carolina, growing a sativa dom strain, so i figured i had at least until the end of october, but i went back there today and holy shit, they look so different than they did 2 days ago

we have had cloudy, cold, rainy weather for almost 2 weeks (i somehow managed to prevent mold) and i think my plants thought it was winter now so they said fuck it and started dying :(

i have had yellow leaves through out flowering, but now alot of leaves are not just yellow, but straight unhealthy looking, like all brown spotted and shit

most trichs are clear on the leaves still, but all the hairs are brown with the exception of a few, i think...
im not sure becuase my glass has only 10x magnification, so i figured id mostly rely on the pistil color

so here are my three questions after sharing all the info i can

1. the weather is back to normal now, so do u think they can revive and flower longer?

2. I also found a spider in one of my buds, at first i was like shitttttt but then i thought well wait... spiders dont eat plants, they eat the fuckers eating my plants, so do you think its a good thing the spider was there? i never really had bug issues due to regular apllication during veg and early flower, but i dont want to be poisened but spider venom bud xD

3. say my plants are in fact ready, how long can they stay before its too late? becuase i have heard if u leave the bud on the plant too long it can be shitty, but friday would be the most ideal day for me to harvest if it is time since im off friday amd can go in the morning when my neighbors are working, so if its ready it can wait 2 days no issue right?

thank you for reading a helpless n00bs ?'s, and for the record i did research this stuff but can find exact answers, and like i said, pics tomorrow

pleaseeee... if you post try to answer all 3 questions, tomorrow i can post pics (dark now and didnt have my camera when i went)

I have seen a pure sativa strain go to the end of Oct. and it looked pretty crappy all the leaves yellow and dead .. but the buds got really frosty and was a really potent plant.

I kill spiders in my plants because they will spin web like crazy and that ain't coo with me.

I'm new to this stuff too, but if you see amber crystals and the calyex's have developed and are kind of fat on the inside of the buds it may be a good time to harvest.

yeah they swelled a bit in the last few days

tomorrow night im going to bring back a sample of some trichs and view it under a microscope i found, the only magnifying glass i have is only 5 or 10x so im not really trusting it :D

i always thought it would be so easy to tell but now that the time is upon me i feel like a fish out of water xD

the thing thats making thinks its not exactly ready is yes i have dying leaves and brown pistils, but alot of them still look healthy, and most harvest ready pics ive seen have leaves with brown edges and whatnot

and yeah, i saw the web first and i thought my bud was infested with mold til i saw the little fucker crawl out and i releized it was his web haha

shouldnt be to bad as long as frost didnt get it

yeah no frost yet, i was hoping to at least last that long tho for more bud

but hey, now in a few days i wont be worrying about one of the numerous hunters that i know have been going thru the woods my grow is in finding it anymore :D

if they havent already, i could swear i could hear someone walking almost directly beside me on the other side of some brush today, and it almost seems like there are paths leading to my ladies that i didnt make, idk tho, may just be a mixture of paranoia and dying plants around them making clear areas, idk lol

i wouldnt worry about hunters unless they went back for it later...last thing a guy needs is a game warden finding weed on him lol.....people are gonna be truckin thru the woods till winter, so dont get to paranoid, hopefully it will be aight

yea its just the fact that becuase of recent unfortunate events and the inability for people to mind their own business, most of my neighbors (who are all die hard baptists that still think that pot is the fruit of the devil) now know that i am a user so as soon as one of them finds a plant in the woods i know where the fingers will be pointed, i guess its just the whole possible years in prison for a plant thing thats got me

none the less, when my plants went in to full bloom i decided that they were the second most beautiful thing in the world and theres nothing thats going to stop me from letting them grow to their full potential :) haha

anyways, im starting to think maybe they should be done now anyways, 7 weeks isnt bad for a plant that could have a high % of indica in it(oh the mysteries of bag seed), but we'll see tomorrow when i get a closer look under a scope and take some pic's
