Shocking Things Fox News Viewers Believe

"We the People of the United States," refers to legal citizens, although the Supreme Court has consistently disagreed. I guess you could call it a flaw in the justice system.

that's your opinion.

and you're wrong. you stated it yourself, THE SUPREME COURT HAS CONSISTENTLY DISAGREED. lol.... it's not a flaw when it works exactly like it should.

it's a flaw when a technicality allows a murderer to walk free, or lets an innocent suffer lethal injection....

Umm I didn't read the second page but I wanted to say that Fox News sucks. It's anchors slick word plays and little mistruths are disgusting. Yellow journalism, I don't believe that there is one news channel that I feel informs me from a neutral standpoint. America at it's finest..

There are a lot of people who are ignorant of our govt works. That's ONE of the problems. Do they still teach civics in our public schools? Sure doesn't look like it.
Education is now just homogenization. The majority of students are put through brainwashing techniques in order to create a complacent labor force working in the interests of large corporations and secretive government, and worst of all, they are completely unaware of it.

it didn't work on me ;)

I call our public schools "public indoctrination centers". You can tell very quickly when a person has been home schooled of educated in a private school.

Now let's take you and UB for instance. Public school, probably in a city. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

not unless you call the town where george washington got his cannon balls from a city...

deep in the heart of new jersey's republican country. looks like donald niece is the mayor again. old dude with a long beard, always sitting under the shade of his apple trees in the summer, smoking a pipe.

unofficial home of the KKK for new jersey, too. i remember seeing them a few times as a young kid.

lol...

i wonder how many of the world's great nations don't have public schools in place.
But that isn't a precursor to being a great nation. Public Schools I mean. Besides ones definition of what makes a nation great can vary widely between one person and another.
Exceptionally bright children do not need a great education to do well in life. What people need to do well are determination and passion for particular goals. There are plenty of people out there with only a high school education that have succeeded beyond most peoples dreams. Perhaps it is only anecdotal evidence, but nonetheless it is something. Would you say that the only reason your plants grow so well is because you went to college, or is it because you learned to grow them well because you WANTED to learn to grow them well?

to be perfectly honest, it does have plenty to do with college. PLB108 (plant botany) was one of my favorite courses. a sweet old lady with a quasi-modo hunch taught that course and would often spell 'animals' as 'aminals' among other cute little mistakes.

despite the hot chick that sat in front of me, i did learn a lot and was very successful with cannabis my first time around, despite a poorly ventilated, ultra hot set up and plants that it the roof because i had no idea they would stretch so much. to this day, i still keep things as low tech as possible, i own no products besides basic grow/bloom ferts, neem oil, and rooting powder. i have never once checked soil PH yet never have had it kill a plant or even stunt it too severely.

i agree with your sentiment, but at the very least we need a place for the children to learn socialization and conformity. too much conformity, mind you, is counterproductive IMO. but, then again, so is too little. socialization is a basic but vital thing.

it took until college for me to realize that most of what i learned in history class was BS, most people never will. college spurred my desire for knowledge greatly. then again, it could have been smoking so much weed. who knows.

in any case, a public education system is vital for any great society and i will stand by that.

I don't think you have to go to a public school to be able to get along with people.

100% true, you don't HAVE to go to a public school to be able to be sociable, but i would argue that it helps with getting along with others, especially a wider exposure of different people, than does a more homogenous private school or home schooling setting.

i bet studies would back me up.

That makes sense.....The Democrats founded the KKK and they obviously had a huge influence on you.
