hello everyone! i was just wondering about how much i will yield off 16 plants under a 1000w hps? i just recently bought one and i'm curious
Its hard to say the rule of thumb is 1pound per light and a perfect setup is 2per light
Remember more plant dont mean more weight less in alot of ways means more
I find 9 properly veged plants in 3.5 gallon pots works well uder 1ooo watts. That could get crowded...
x4 600 = 2400watts with 13 plants in a ebb and grow, on my last grow was 3 3/4 pounds and thats with 600 not 1000s
and with heat issues
damn thats hella gud. you have them in rock wool and its flood and drain?
growdan crutons and its flood and drain
3 rows of 3 1 and a quarter ounce per plant got your 1 pound per light. I do that as well
?
3x3=9
9x1.25 = 11.25
11.25 is not a pound.
Personally I think a pound from 1000w would be a lot. I'm not saying it can't be or isn't done, but it would be a damn good yield imo.
Real estate is the issue. Different reflectors/hoods can make a big difference but I think it would be difficult to get 16 good sized plants under 1000w.
so you just fill your tray up wth crutons and then burrie your cubes in there? whats your ph at. do you use the tri metter that reads the ph 24/7? I really want to run 1 of my 4x4 trays with 15 plants 4 inch cubes in the crutons side by side with my soil grows. only thing is how can you have them on deck vegging so your next crops ready? you would have to water by hand like twice a day in your veg room?
