if my clones have not rooted over 2 weeks, is it possible to recut it and and re dip it into a cloning solution?>

I wouldn't touch them, you will just disrupt any root growth they might have at the moment.

When you took them did you use the rooting powder or gel? Also what growing medium did you clone them in?

the thing is, my friend gave me some cuttings in rockwool, and the same day we took them out of rockwool and into aerocloner. They havent rooted since and has a build up of white gunk.

You shouldn't have removed them from the rockwool to begin with, you obviously have a different system than others so i wish you the best of luck. I personally wouldn't mess with them, they will either take or not.

i know, i probably rubbed some of the hormones solution off of the root when transferring to aerocloner. Any ideas y the stems are browm(at the bottom) and very very weak. as it starting to break apart like soggy? am i overwatering? also inside the stem from the bottom, it starting to look hollow.

Sounds like they are dying off, the rooting hormone is one of the most crucial parts of cloning. The second you removed those from the rock wool cubes i guarantee little to none made it out of the cube. See how they are the next few days and if the situation worsens take some new ones, this time leaving them in the rock wool if you can.

Clonex in Jiffy's mate, quite often the lower leaves on the clones i do start to fade and go a tad yellow, then the roots pop out not long after

Weird, when i do them in jiffy or rock wool i don't get this problem, the odd one that doesn't take will do this but it will just die off. Also depends on the strains

Use rockwell cubes with powder. Trick is to keep high humidity but not to hot and don't have the rockwell cubes wet just moist. Works great for me 95% of them root. Whenever i use the gel with soil i get stem rot.

Helps to keep the canopy's on top too, they re-circulate the moisture inside.

Also anyone who takes clones should invest in Black Crystal, 100 ml in 5 gallons then soak your pucks in it or water your cubes with it before planting them. The root system goes nuts

Also yes, i agree with the powder. Had a bad experience with the gel

For sure mate, it dosen't happen all the time and i get through too many strains to notice any kinda pattern and which strain it was, but when it does the roots arn't far behind.

Peace
