My knowledge of aeroponics you could fit on the back of the proverbial postage stamp. All I know is that the roots are hanging freely and are sprayed regularly with nutrients. I'm only on my first grow and I opted for soil because it seemed simpler. We are going to be using aeroponics on our second grow which will be starting, fingers crossed, around the beginning of December.
I know that a complete aeroponics unit to house twenty plants can be bought for 309 pounds Sterling. Probably about $500. We're going to be buying two. So hopefully in a couple-or-three months I will know considerably more.
Everything I've heard about aeroponics is good. The yields are supposed to be amazing; and let's be honest, that's why we are all doing it. The more you've got the more you can smoke.
I apologise to anyone clicking onto this thread for in depth info on aeroponics... I just thought the forum looked lonely with just hydroponics.
