Everyone hating on wayne has their facts wrong. No, he might not be AMAZING at rapping like tech n9ne, black thought or pac or biggie and I admit that some of his recent work has not been up to par, but IMO he still has one of the most distinctive sounds in hip-hop and the way he flows and makes his words sound is virtually impossible to replicate.
Only weezy can sound like weezy and enough people like his voice to have made him popular. He wasn't just "shoved in our faces," he has been working on a fan base since the age of 15 releasing mixtapes and albums. People won't listen to something they don't enjoy. And for ppl who say "his old stuff is better", I can tell you've never listened to his really old stuff like "Tha Block is Hot", "500 Degreez" or "Lights Out" because those were all fairly bad albums.
IMO Drought 3 was his best work which I believe was released in 08', a few months before the Carter III dropped.
I have the Carter IV, it's pretty good, not one of my favorite wayne releases but still solid.

Double check mannie fresh's bank account homie. Juve -- probably pissed away his $$ but back that ass up slaps on every wayne song in existence. Bg and turk might be dead for all I know. Wayne the only sell out of the crew thats why he made hella scratch, not anything to do with musical talent or ability to deliver real lyrics. Hell, he even started his own label and everyone on it spit better than him. Better manager than artist that's for sure.
