Two questions?

I wanna edit my posts! Sometimes I catch a spelling mistake on an old post. Come on mods, can you do us a fav?

Rollitup members have the ability to edit their posts for 2 days after posting. That's plenty of time to do the proof-reading.

Well its all about making my grow journal look better and adding info. 2days is enought to edit 2 days worth of posts. I always catch mistakes when I look at old stuff(more then 2days).

Plus when your baked 2days is enough to make people look stupid. Come on, its not like you need anything im posting.

I'd start a new topic but since this is on the first page Ill just add this to my thread.

Rollitup is the only website that causes my internet explorer 9-64bit to have some type of error almost every post. It freezes and I have to recovery the webpage.

Im also having a hard time uploading. I uploaded a couple of pics last month but it seems that the "upload" button won't click. So the uploads don't go through.

I agree that there is no reason why we shouldnt have the option to edit any post we've made regardless of how long ago we posted it.

Not only does editing help and give more control to the user, but it also makes out community look better if we can clear up all the mistakes from our posts. Sometimes you make mistakes when you're medicated, and don't reread it because you think its perfect and or you just don't reread your own posts. Then someone quotes you a couple days later and makes the user look like an idiot. And since we can't stop assholes from making community members look and feel bad, we can help the user who made the mistake fix it. Lifes about learning from your mistakes an fixing the mistakes that you can, why not make this one of the things that a user can correct? ;)
I know that you obviously want to keep as much information that is posted as possible, but it makes the user feel like their fucked if they post anything that this website is about if they wanna delete it. Most people won't delete information that others could use or from a forum that has a bunch of posts on it.
Hope you mods read this; and please post if you're pro-correction. This goes for everyone being a grammer police, im sure they will support corrections aswell.

I'm sorry that you don't like our policies. They were developed and adjusted with the experience of time. We will take your suggestions into consideration.

Yeah, unfortanatley Ill probably be leaving riu specifically because of that. Might find a more personalied data base or keep it to a notebook. Maybe the internet isn't the best place to be, and im sure the questions been asked already.

My computers been slower too. I think I might have a virus or trojan, so Im really sketched right now. Ran multiple anti virus scans, uninstalled software and reinstalled whatever I was going to use. Looks like something a little more advanced, so I might have to quit posting pictures alltogether until i get a new computer.
