Odor Control For A Closet Grow.

can anyone give me advice on how best to control odor for a closet grow, like without ducting or anything like that.thanks.

Get some Alaska Fish Fertilizer. It won't stop your plants from smelling skunky but it will mask the smell quite well. Just pour some concentrate around your grow room door and trust me, the last thing people are going to think is weed. Dead cat or diarrhea bag they might say, but they will never think weed. Otherwise your going to have to go with ducting and a charcoal filter I'm afraid.

Gonzo bags from home depot 7 bucks a peice work great from what ive been told gonna be getting some soon also ONA works too..1 in closet another outside of room maybe more depending on how many and how strong the plants r...GL

If you're using a box in a closet, then use a carbon filter, definitely. Otherwise go with ONA gel, but the carbon will work much better in the long run.

Glade plugins, febreeze, candles, bowls of potpouri, boiling pots of cinnamon or herbs, stashed dryer sheets, scented carpet sprinkler that you vacuum up, these are all quick and easy ways to mask the odor coming from a small closet grow.

a can fan, some dryer duct and a charcoal filter and you're in business man. I know you're not interested in duct work but online you spend under $200 and your odor problems are gone. By far the best way to go. Everything else just blends and masks, the charcoal absorbs it.

How much does a charcoal filter normally cost? I hear they're quite expensive

4 inch charcoal filter was $75. Replace em once a year. can fan runs $130. But that was all at the hydro store, online you could find a better deal. But it would solve all problems, which is usually the case when you spend the cash to do it right.

Ona sucks, I just got some bc my roomies were starting to bitch about the smell. I've had the top open of my container for a week now and it hasnt done shit

I agree with Island Delight, the only real way to control odor is with a carbon filter. those babies are gonna stink come flowering time!
