Ive actually read an article about it before and I was actually considering maybe trying it myself someday.
If your looking to grow some lowriders that would be suitable for a pc case or another small grow space its definitely an option . I have seen some nice grows that have gone on just 24/7 light.
There was a guy on OG that used to do nice grows in this manner. He used a layer of clay to give the taproot something to fight through . I forget why but figured i would mention it here .

i started my PC Plant on 12/12 it was growing well for the most of it, it just got a bit fucked from the clear containertru say tho, it was small, very small. i never made it past the 3rd node, does anyone know how long the plant will take to finish under 12/12 i want to start one again but i got some lowrydas so i might aswell use them if its gna be long lol....

i have done seed from 12/12 the thc is not as potent as vegged for proper time, dont mind that subliminal dude, he is just some dumb ass douche bag who has no life but insists to go on RIU and tell us we have no lives. bro, the ganja is my life, ha not really but a serious hobby

the time it will take with 12/12 all the way through will change according to the breed. some breeds wont start flowering for 10 weeks while others (bubblegum as an example) will start flowering after 3 weeks. having the lights on 12/12 while its veging will lower final yield but it will keep them small. if your looking to keep them small try an auto flowering plant as you can keep these on 24/0 and with get a much better yield because of this. lowryder#2 is a good auto as it has a good level of potency
