Hey guys I am doing a clone project, and I want to know for marijuana how much water do i put in to dilute it, and also I have Clonex but don't know how to use it either, my first attempt @ cloning failed, I had no humidity dome, No heating pad, It was half ass. So now I amped it up so I can clone my big girl because shes healthy and I want to keep growing her offspring...So if you can help me out with clonex and dip n grow I will appreciate it very much so! Thanks guys

I don't know about Dip n grow but from what I've read about Clonex is you just dip your fresh cut branches into the solution (or powder) and place them into your starter plugs.

It’s As Easy As 1, 2, 3

easy1.png
Mix Dip’N Grow concentrate with water in the dilution cup provided.
easy2.png
Dip basal end of cutting into solution for 3 to 5 seconds.
easy3.png
Place cutting in planting media with appropriate greenhouse-like environment.

Pretty simple. Cut plants base at a sharp angle to expose as much meristematic tissue as possible. Dip in the rooting hormone. Put into your pre-soaked coco rooters or soil or whatever other medium you are using. Mist leaves and place in your plastic dome over the heat mat.

There are a few different dilution lines, which one would i fill the water to? 10x? BTW if I use dip n grow do I still use the clonex? Thanks for the reply

Just one should be enough but doubling up shouldn't hurt.

No idea on what line - did it come with instructions? If not they have a very informative website.

Just use the clonex gel in place of the rootech and do just like this, guaranteed results.
is is an easy way to do some cuts.First a healthy plant in veg with some good branching, side and top views.
I use an old cutting board,a rusty razor, sharp fine pointed scissors and roottech gel.
You don't need any hormones at all to take cuts successfully but it speeds up the process and the plants are less beat up by the time they root.
How the branch looks removed with nodes attached and stripped off,I just pinch them off be careful not to kink the stem.......kinking is bad.
Stick in gel let sit for 30 seconds or so.
In this case I'm using peat pellets but it'll work in just about anything that will keep the cut from drying out while it's rooting.
Soak the pellets overnight or they'll suck the moisture outta the cuts with bad results.
Poke hole in pellet, stick cut all the way down again careful not to kink the stem.
Form pellet around stem,gently.......then dunk in water to replace what ya squeezed out by forming then put in a dome.I'm using a cake box, they come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes plus ya getta cake.......fucking A.
In this case they're about 12"s under a 42 watt cfl, just leave'em alone they don't like being messed with.
Roots take anywhere from 5 to 15 days depending on plant and temp,I will take some pics and explain how I quick harden them off and pot'em when these root.
Now the donor plant provided 6 cuts and has 4 main branches, ready to be up-potted and flowered tomorrow.

how did i do?i soaked rockwall cubes, then took out excessive water to make them damp, then I washed hands and cut a few off the big girl, dipped in rooting hormone for 5 seconds each, then placed in the humidity dome under the light. I put water in the dome to create humidity...When do i spray them and how many sprays?

My first attempts at cloning was a complete fail also, i used clonex but not sure if i cut the branches right.. i just bought a 2ft t5 light, would that be good for clones?

Pics of first attempt. Could the fact that it was a ruderalis plant have anything to do with it?
