How many cfl's for a decent yield?

Well i got 1 lovely lady growin right now, with 10 23w 2700k cfls. I was just wondering how much should i have surrounding her? I have some 27w 5000ks too, would it be a good idea to replace some of the 2700ks with them?

I might suggest bending your tops to form a more even canopy. Should help with more even higher lux light distribution.

Take your pictures, move them to desktop or somethin. Make a reply and at the top next to all the editing things, click "Insert Image" Find your pictures (Hold Ctrl to pick multiple pictures) And click upload images.

Actually looking at it again you seem to have a pretty even canopy as it is. Looks good. More light is always better but that should get you something. Remember to keep em as close as possible.

Last time i kept "Keep them as close as possible" in mind, i burned her 3 times , she likes to grow into them and be nice and snuggly warm .

Thats funny you say that because my plants have a tendency to grow into my Cfl's as well but I'm subbed man I like that you only have one plant.

Another question, is it aight to cut the deadish leaves off at the very bottom?

I cut them, sometimes I just cut branches off if they are doing shit, it helps focus more energy into the important ones

all of my leaves are green though even at the bottom with barely any light down there. foil has helped me a bit

Ye i have a few "tops" very small at the bottom, gonna give popcorn buds, think i might just cut em so i can do that .

Edit: Would i be able to clone the very little tops at the bottom? I wanna clone her so bad, keep her goin

I'm thinking of trying this out if I don't upgrade my lights... this way the bottom 4 branches are the only branches on the plant and they get pretty damn thick and produce a lot of bud.
