Better pics would help, maybe some dif angles too. try also a little farther back. Do you have any idea? is it a veggie or a flowering plant???

It kinda resembles a c. chinense (species) pepper plant.

yeah, those pics are rather close..... but I agree that they look like peppers..... or possibly basil.

Looks like a basil, but this one must be an unusual cultivar. Basil leaves are usually more elliptic. Good way to tell if it's basil, of course, tear off a little of the tip and crush it to smell. Should smell like basil/licoricy.

If it doesn't smell. It could be another plant such as Celosia (cockscomb) or Amaranthus. Most likely what thepodpiper mention, Capsicum chinense.

If it is a pepper plant the only thing you will be able to identify by the flowers is what species it it. You will not be able to tell the variety. How many different types of pepper seeds did you plant?

its for sure NOT celosia, thats one of my faves. it does appear to be some sort of basil The Italian strain would be my guess. The flowering on those is beautiful!
(I didnt read all of the posts so I may be repeating what someone has already answered)

I cross-bred a cayan pepper/Strawberry plant last year. Anyone interested?

Ive got sooo many damn pictures the only ones i can find so far are of when they were babies. I CAN tell you that the normal pepper plant reached 6 feet and fell over. The hybrid only made it to about 2' but was almost 2' wide also. The regular peppers were 6 or 7" long like they should be but the hybrid ones were only about 3" long and semi-spicy but they were really sweet like ummmm really they didnt taste like anything else, maybe cilantro and something. Great with pan fried chicken.

If you post pics then please we will help, but undertsand that basil flower stems are purple and so are the flowers :)

alright i figured out what type of plants they are they are a tooth ace plant from brazil and searched the whole website for hours till i found what type it was i chewed it a few times and makes my mouth completely numb :)
