Wow Shrinkage!!

Damn if you're doing your first harvest be prepared for shrinkage ALOT.. damn I was so disappointed when i seen em drying and shrinking so much!! I knew they would shrink but not so much..

Yeah....when people post their yeilds of ounces etc, ya know they must have had a LOT .....I typically get about 30% of well trimmed, destalked wet.....as dry...

LOL, yea I started my cure with 12 full mason jars now there almost all half full from the water loss but at least I don't expect them to lose much more weight then they have.

i always assumed 1 pound wet will be more like 4-5 ounces dried...water weighs a lot.

I do that too according to how much of the stuff I burned up....LOL

Yeah they say around 80% loss during drying. This also depends on when last water was.

I have bought into the letting them dry out a bit before harvest, forces plant into a last ditch effort to max budding. He'll I don't know, just usually ends up going that way.
