I often get asked exactly how I do my scrogged ladies, my LST method and how many "main arms" (as I like to refer to them) I leave regards topping etc. I'm not saying i'm the best gardener ra ta ta. just trying to give some others inspiration

So here it is, hopefully, all the answers rolled into one thread

HEADBAND SCROG - LOUISE

Start off with a clone or seedling (providing its a femmed seed) and top/fim it for around 4-6 heads or arms which will "feed" the screen.

I like enough room to manover my hand with ease so i grow them up about 8" - 10" removing all the lower growth

once she is up against the screen enough, top/fim again for multipul heads. I use this cut down section of a screen to start training the girls, u could just LST everyday to achieve the same results i think.

a little bit of LOOSE tying or check it regularly she'll grow around it if your not careful

Starting to get a little to big for the training screen

after removing training screen a week or more after the last pic. bamboo caines at the edges of the pot for the screen support.

After screening, leaves below the screen will be removed when they are covered by the canopy of leaves growing above.

so this time i'd like to show you ladies and gents from seedling

Back right LSD - Barneys Farm

Changed position to front left. Topped for 4 main "arms"

this is the Dog Kush, but shows you the method i used before on the last example above. removing all the lower growth to make her stretch up for the screen.

back to LSD, i accidentally snapped an arm which was a big mistake as it made it uneven and hard to train lol 4-6 arms recommended by myself topped the arms when at the screen for more heads to spread out.

it still amazes me how that slh turnd out...i like the one pot scrog,cause i like to move/inspect my plants.
ill be watchin and keep notes...

las, I am studying this guide, and it keeps blowing my mind.
I cant wait to try this method. I really think my 600 watt MH will be awesome for the vegging strength that the plant needs for this approach, dont you?
Its really wild what you do. Its like you are forcing the plant down, but the sheer force of the plant wanting to survive makes it stronger. Those plants must really fuckin hate you but love you at the same time..what an antagonistic relasonship you must have with them.. truely wild.. IF plants could speak id love to hear what they say to you sometimes in your garden...ahahahahahahah

it sure is the way forwards for me, yeah it means a longer veg but less plants its always better for a paranoid mind lol. its good that you can move them, i had a re-arange of the tent when i got back home and it was easy to do.

hahaha thanks amber yeah there sure are some forces in play she grows slowly but strongly, she'll embed herself into anything sharpish and just grow round it. like a cable tie left on by mistake. i read some crap that they dont like to be touched to much so yeah they proberbly do hate me esp when i leave em to my flat mate to look after lol. dont worry daddys home now girls lol oh and boy now

I got my 1st lot from my local homebase but i'm guessing u dont have them over there? The second lot I got from my local "pound" shop for a fiver, it was 20 quid from homebase, exactly the same product lol. i'm guessing u should go to a large garden center type place. homebase has everything for house and garden type thing, i'm sure u have similar places in the states?

i have a water filter for my fish tank so use that once warmed up to room temp. you can use tap water the same way, just wait 24 hours for the chlorine to evaporate. (if there is any) you can run an air pump, like the kind for fish tanks to speed the de-chlorination of the water

edit - its not reverse osmosis filter, just takes some of the heavy metals, lime scale etc out.

Headband. Not so sure on my 4oz estimate i gave on my poll now but we will have 2 wait and see. i'd say 3 at the moment.

LSD 2 weeks 12.12. now this is more a 4oz plant what u think?

Hi Las,
From what I am viewing, the trellis is pretty far down.? What are you future trellis placement plans for these 2 plants.
Any shifting or moving to look for?
The LSD is more like a 5 oz plant I think.
They are both beautys!!!!!!!

thanks amber yeah the trellis's will stay on now untill the plant is harvested, would probably cause damage to take it off? its ok, i've still got a couple of meters to play with on the roll of trellis

all the growth above the screen is "stretch" growth as all the girls where level with the screen prior to flipping the light to 12.12

Mr. fingerez, lol,
what is your opinion on nutrient stimulaing aditives such as Humboldts Own bush masters... its used to halt vertical growth and add more bush growth?
Would this be benifical in anyway to the SCROG way of growing?hmmmmmmm
