Shaker Box Questions

I bought a maple shaker box off ebay, which ill be getting in a few days.
Does anyone have a faq or a thread i can read about these boxes? im wondering if a silver dollar on the screen would be any help in processing the frozen material.

The reason i ask, is because it works well to do that in a grinder with a coin.

What does having a coin in your grinder help? just curious lol

well the coin breaks up the frozen weed. by shaking it it generates some keif. Not tons but some per load.

Now that i think of it, it might not be such a great idea, it has to be forcing plant material into the screen as well as the keif.

always learning something new on this forum.
