yo on the subject of bubba kushh. is your backcross to the pre 98 bubba gunna be made available on atttitude?
My SOur Kush is 7 weeks in 12/12 today.....(Sour D x Bubba K) Shit is rock hard buds, with lots of white/orange hair, all over it...Its extremely hairy, and smells of straight up SOUR! no mistaken that, My phenoi doesn't really look like the previous photos, but very few leaves to bud ratio, hardly any trimming at all will need to be done on it...looks like a nice solid cross.....But the density is crazy, i grow rock hard buds, but this is almost on a nother level......Anyone got the pheno Im talking about.....Not so short, hairy, dense buds, with no sugar leaves, just fan leaves...smells SOUR all the way.....let me know what others are finding from Sour Diesel x Bubba Kush....

I've never grown any Sour Diesel or a cross of it until now with my Sour Kush. Could you elaborate more on the sour aspect of it. My pheno seems to have an unappealing smell to it. Is this the typical Sour Diesel aroma?

i grew one for 13 weeks , one for 9 weeks one at 8 weeks and so on,
choped one when the trichs were cloudy , and one at 13 weeks they were amber everywhere , still nothing
Beautiful plant , Smells good Looks Good and covered in Tons of res , ,, just no buzz , although the one i let go 13 weeks did give me a headache
just a poor pheno , good for looks . lets not forget i only had the one seed to try , it was a freebie
as a matter of fact , i had 7 freebies and i didnt like any of them
and i have one more at 7 weeks , had to give it just one more run ,
but the other 5 clones i have will be killed
i will just keep popping seeds til i find a keeper , one day , one day

Here is a few pics of my DNA Sour D x Bubba Kush aka "sour kush".
This plant is a really low yielder, stinks pretty good and has some seriously DANK nugs. I'll be back in a week or two with some comments on the smoke.

I see that attitude has the sour kush available again the(bubbaxsour d) I thought it was a one time thing they still have there headband aka sour kush(og kushxsour d) as well

yea, i just noticed that.. i just smoked some too and it taste like it smells "sour" like old nasty sour milk sour not candy tart sour. but the smoke is nice inica smoke, yield is too low for me to keep tho.

mine is similar but my buds are not quite as hard, it has almost an orange tint o it and i didnt trim b4 i dried bc it wasnt much to trim

Yes, it really is a low yielder just by looking at mine growing 7 weeks into 12/12. It smells gross to be perfectly honest. I've got OG Kush growing right next to it and, in my opinion, the OG smells more like the classic "Sour" smell than does my Sour Kush. Is there anything you like about this strain or should I just uproot it now? lol...It's too bad because I had such high hopes for this Sour Kush

Question for anyone on here growing the sour kush. I have a couple in flower right now. They are all topped. Very short plants, EXTREMELY dense fat nugs. Covered in curly orange hairs. Looks like a PRE-98 Bubba to me but smells very sour. Now here is my question: How long did you flower it?
The plants looks finished as of last week. All hairs have turned on it. Buds aren't swelling anymore. My 420 scope is no longer so I can't check the trics but I am worried as I'm leaving tmrw for the CC and really am not sure if I should cut it down before or after.. Any help would be greatly appreciated

That doesn't sound like the Sour Kush (BubbaxSourD) that I have at all. In fact, the only thing that I can agree with what you said is that it's very sour smelling. Throughout this thread, and a few others, it seems a lot of them looked like mine. Check out the pic I took on day 63 of 12/12 just before I chopped them down

i was thinkin the same thing.. and i smokd some out here just like it. smell like lemony fishy cod livr oil or something n hs a orangeish tint,

Mine looks nothing like that. Fat dense nuggets. Then again my fan leaves stayed perfectly healthy too.
I have Sour Kush (bubbaXsourD) and "Sour Kush"(Headband) and Pre98-Bubba.
Ill get some pictures taken and throw up here for comparison.
The bubbaXsourD has that purple/lavender color, but definately has very dense nugs.
Out of all the strains in flower right now (Sour Kush, Headband, Og #18, Pre98Bubba, Wappa, Alien OG, Tahoe OG, UK Cheese, Chronic and Purple Kush) the Sour Kush has the densest nugs. Purple Kush coming in close seconds.
