Marijuana in fridge or freezer?

I just got some dried bud and I put them in zip lock bag and was wondering can i put it in the fridge or freezer and will it do any harm?

Won't harm it. That's how you keep it fresh. You can freeze it for up to 5 years in a sealed container even.

Bad Idea just like bread the cold will break through the plastic and it'll get freezer burnt it needs to be in a mason jar.

also if you handle it more than a few times the tricromes will start to break off.

id put it in the crisper before the freezer
think about it,anytime u move that frozen bud,the trichs will fall off
thats y people freeze their trim before they make bubble hash

double bag it or use a food sealer to get all the air out and the freezer will be fine. just remember to let it thaw and dry completely.

storing in PLASTIC is never a good idea. the buds not only decompose faster, but the plastic steals away trichromes.

throw it in a mason jar and then put it in your refrigerator. some people think that the refrigerator humidity makes the buds wet but I disagree. I had some really dry Blue Dream in my fridge for a couple weeks and it was still crumbly dry when I took it back out.

I'm gonna get some mason jar tomorrow throw the bud in and put it in my bedroom or is it better to put it in the fridge? Do I have to open the jar like every 15 minutes to let the air out? Oh I have the vacuum seal bag will that work?

dont put it in the freezer. fridge maybe. but freezing bud willmake the trichs fall off and make ur bud way less potent. if ur budsin the freezer right now, take it out gently. if u see small crystals at the bottom of the bag, its too late.

if it is finished bud,then u should be able to seal it up for long term storage

lol.. the bud was started to froze up so I took it out and gonna leave it in zip lock bag until I get some mason jar.

Do NOT freeze bud. Properly dried and cured bud keeps indefinitely - keep it in a cool dark place and it just keeps getting better, like sloe gin.

Not if you leave it in the sealed glass container until it stabilizes at room temps.

However, I'm very much with Spanishfly's idea on this. I know that works very well (as long as it's properly cured and not damp / wet)
