Organic Indoor AK-48 under T5 (Veg & Bloom) with BMO Nutrients

I think you meant that I haven't grown with T5's not that I "obviously grown with t5 bro" and as a matter of fact I started my first grow with t5's and they turned out good for using t5's. However when I switched to HPS in flowering I realized I was missing out on bigger better buds produced from an HPS, so think what ever you want but the truth is any grower who can use HPS and doesn't is missing out on way better yields and BIGGER BUDS so keep growing your "rock hard" tiny buds and I'll stick to my monster buds.,... don't be sorry your the one missing out so sorry to you my naive friend. What I'm stating is nothing more than fact HPS is better for flowering than T5's PERIOD

Heres my tiny T5 buds at 5 weeks. Wheres your HUGE HPS buds? Show me the journal. A picture is worth 1000 words. PS I harvested 227 grams of TINY buds off this 2x3 screen and there is still 1 plant going. So lets see those huge HPS buds MOUTH!!! I showed you mine.

Heres 2 pics of my tiny t5 buds at 5 weeks and the 3rd is the 1 tiny bud plant still going.

Yea I agree, as long as its not stretching to much keep the light there until it grows some true leaves.. Then start getting it closer.. When it gets a good 6 nodes on it, your gonna want to keep that beast 2-3" to the light!!

Lookin good brotha!!

Thanks for checking in on me, I appreciate the tips.

Also:
I really, really, really, REALLY don't want my journal to turn into a T5 vs HPS debate. I'm using T5 to flower, deal with it.

Lights just came on. Temps were about 79-81 (finally found a fan placement that somewhat works). Looking good in there.

Picture to come...

Ill defiantly have to stay updated with this journal...as I am running a T5 high output 8 bulb and I've had some good results with it. I currently have GDP going.

Justgogrow - you also flower with your T5? What size (length) is it? Do you also use both spectrum bulbs? And finally, the question everyone wants to know, what kind of yields do you get from one plant? Do you have a grow journal going?

Also, water was dry down to 1.5" deep so I gave the pot a nice big gulp of only distilled water.

EDIT: Where the fuck are my beans?!

Lights on! Today's update is not much, but fuck it.

Soil is still a bit damp so I probably won't need to water again for a couple days. It is starting it's second pair of "true" leaves now (if you look closely you can see them.)

Temps are still running hot (sheesh, I just can't win) but no bad signs showing on the plant, so I'm sticking with it.

And just in case you like lavender, you can see those two plants are doing well. The seedling has started growing quite rapidly and has a nice frost to it.

This guy is still recovering from a slight case of nutrient burn, but the new growth on it is phenomenal, so it's all good.

Still no beans in the mail, and today is 15 days from shipped date.

The one that's a seedling now is a bagseed from a friend (claimed it was from a bag of Blackberry - I'm hopeful this is the truth), and the seeds I ordered were from Nirvana (AK-48). Once I get a nice vegged plant I've got some friends I need to start talking to as I think a couple have the same hobby, and we could get some clone-trade action going on. But that's weeks down the road; right now I just want my beans (and my free sample of Bud Boost that the Cash Crop company so politely offered up). But either way, all is good in seedling and lavender world here.

Yea that lavender looks cool. Well hopefully you get them soon, thats the problem I had with nirvana... Never got them, wrote an email and they returned it and poliely said wait 30 days which was understandable.. Still nothing so I wrote another email and they said they will send another this "one" time lol.. I did get them after a month and a half of waiting but attitude got my next order.. It came in 6 days and I would gladly pay the extra shipping for just that reason!!

Had to check out your grow man dam i can't believe ur seeds havent showed up did you order through nirvana or john doe I know its the same place just curious

Directly from Nirvana. I'll say the same thing I've been saying for the past couple days: maybe tomorrow.

EDIT: Also, I just made this little ditty layout of the shape and size of my grow closet. I'm trying to figure out the volume of the closet in total so I can eventually add a good exhaust scheme in there (hence why I need to know how much air to exhaust each minute within the closet). The closet itself is 8' tall, with the floor plan as seen below. My shitty math came up with 2088 cubic feet, but this seems like a lot. Maybe I'm just fried though, if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

It's been 7 days since the taproot came out of the Blackberry seed and was placed into soil; and now it has two true sets of leaves. Temperatures seem to have leveled off to high 70's at night (with circulation and exhaust fan on 24/7) and low to mid-80's with lights on.

And the lavender with BMO nutes is doing well. Seriously, this thing is frosty.

Any suggestions, tips, hints, are criticisms welcome. Still...no beans from the mailman. Maybe tomorrow...
