topped early and often. those have probably been topped about 10 times. started them in March. the main reason is because I didn't want them to grow taller than the fence. also I hate trimming popcorn bud that you can't even sell so I would rather have like 30 quarter ounce colas than one pound one that you have to cut up anyways. I also lollipop the bottoms when they are young so that the branches don't start until about a foot off the ground.

so youl top after 2nd or 3rd node..? then top each of those 2, then top each of those 4, then maybe once more so you'd top 8 getting 16 colas? i also dont understand lollipop... the stems seem to branch off an inch from the ground by the looks of the vid

its never really too late to do that right? i did some pruning, and lollipopping on my flowering ladies, but not so much early on.. like today, for example heh

Yeah, you can do that. it doesnt make much of a difference this late into the grow so I usually leave whatever sucker shoots are left because I know my plants are big enough to handle all the buds. besides at this point it's just more bud in the long run or at least really good hash making material. I would suggest leaving the branches alone unless they are hanging in the ground or attracting pests!

yeah a few of them looked like LST they bent down to the ground then back up in a U shape and had measly pistils on them so i removed maybe 12 or so branches between the 5 plants. i know fan leaves provide food, but the ones i mainly removed were the biggest ones on the main stalk .. theyre in the armpit of the big bud filled branches anyway, so they dont collect much light just block it.. the fans on the branches i left to gather light.

Yup, loving my picket fence!! been living at my moms house for the season since I got kicked out for having too many partys where I was staying at an apartment across the street from the police station. my mom quit smoking like 15 years ago and started again like 4 years ago and keeps quiting on and off. she hasn't smoked in 3 months but I have a feeling she will when I harvest and buds are all over the house. The reason I built the picket fence is because it was a shitty old dog run that had been torn down so it was just a gravelly, rocky dirt lot next to the lawn and we made the agreement that if I made it look nice and professional I could grow as much as I wanted for one year! next year she is going to have a beautiful tomato and veggie garden. I told her we would grow a bunch of veggies this year too but I ended up just putting more and more ganja plants until the veggies got choked out.... whoops. But overall I'm really stoked because last year I made a little ghetto garden right there with like 10 plants and only one ended up being big. this year they are all twice the size of my biggest one last year. hopefully big enough to rent me a nice house to grow at next year! if not it might just be time to sell the harvest and go travel to wherever the wind takes me! maybe another country for a few months? who knows? sorry for the long rambling post I'm just super loaded right now. happiness is a warm gun...... yes it is....

holy shit there has been a cop parked in the middle of the street in front of my house for like ten min. I am super loaded right now too, totally tripped me out. luckily they just went in the house across the street. hopefully every things alright. I just don't want to talk to them cause I look like a super baked hippie. I don't think I'm gonna answer the door if they knock. I dunno...

holy fuck they were just knocking and i wouldnt answer, my dogs were barking like mad! I hope they just wanted to ask if i saw something cause they were at the neighbors. if they want to look at my garden, dont they need a warrant to come in the backyard? i just dont want them to hurt my dogs if they try to come in and they bark. cause police around here are notorious pit bull shooters...
