How far into flowering does smell start? (pics included)

im not sure exactly how far into flowering my plant is.. i think about 4 weeks? but there is small bud all over it, but almost NO smell coming off it at ALL.
when should smell start (at all)?
and about how long till its smelling significant distances?

Depends on the strain you're growing. I've got some Arjan Haze 3 growing right now and they've just started to flower. So far, absolutely no smell at all, and I'm stuffing my nose right into the things. At first I thought it was very strange, but am used to it now. Apparently, the AH3 does get an odour eventually, but it's very mild, fruity and not very cannabis-scented at all. What strain are yours?

Within 2 more weeks you will proubally be geting more and more tricromes and along with those will come your smell! Remember the most important thing you can have with growing weed is patience!

try rubbing the stems with ur fingers. ur fingers will smell more than if u just put ur face up to the buds

they should start smelling in the next few weeks, no worries, sometimes it takes a while

thansk guys.
yeah i know different strains smell more / less, unfortunatly i dont know what this is. got it from a friend who gave me a few he got from someone else who grows... i havnt even smoked it before so i have no clue about it whatsoever.
yeah when i put my nose in it it doesnt stink of weed its a more herby smell, i think its gonna be that kinda weed. which is OK cos thats what im used to smoking.
i guess we will see!

I have 2 different strains growing and 1 of them smelled like sweet skunk all the way from its 3rd node to its flower nuggets.. The other one which is a much more impressive looking plant overall just started to give off a strange odor about 4 weeks into flowering.. and its loaded with trichomes but has an unusual weed smell.

I surely hope the plant in your photos wasn't 4 weeks into flowering. Those buds are barely even visible.
More like a few days bud growth, I would say. At 1 week into flowering, your buds should be at least
the size of marbles, or you've messed up somwhere along the line, or possibly poor quality seeds.

More like a few days bud growth, I would say. At 1 week into flowering, your buds should be at least
