they make the plant take off as in your roots are gona grow down at least with the 3 gal one, its more tall then wide. i put the ape in it at about 7 inches and it caught up to the mmg and is now bout 20 inches maybe more, im sure if you top them alot you can keep them from stretching up so quickly, there just gona be growing at the same rate their roots go down the bag. they drain great and the one i have eats a gallon and drains in about 2mins, u might wana cut the bags down in height if your looking for short pots, i think it was 78 cents i got it free from my local hydro shop. You can get them online, most hydro shops ive been in carry them for under a dollar a piece

the LA on the right lost half her top she got caught in the light when i drained the run-catch. sucks but i dip her in root tech and put her top in a rockwool and in the cloner with other 7 clones hoperfully it will root be super sick hahaha
