Other than the yellowing problem they look great!! I'm looking forward to seeing how you like the smoke.

Have you checked the ph of your water? Are you feeding it any nutes with nitrogen in them? Just a few ideas but I would think you should be fine either way just might help increase yield if you figure it out.. :joint:

this is kinda random, but i saw that youre also from atx, as am I. the pH of the tap water here is around 10.0 you will definitely need to mix that in with some distilled water (ph ~ 6.5) to lower the pH. I struggled with my soil grow for so long due to pH issues before I figured this out. I also finally got a pH meter so now I measure pH runoff everytime.

Yeah, it really is, I used pH strips all I could afford, when i finally tested the pH they were dark red (which means 8.4+) so I was like DAmn this is what I've been using! that was a while back I've been using distilled water or tap/nutes which lowers it. The only nutes I have used is tiger bloom which has little nitrogen in it. One of them is looking very yellow, would it be a good idea to actually add some nutes high in nitrogen like grow big or something even though they're flowering?

It seems that my best plant or "highest yielder" from what it looks like is the one having the most problems with these yellow leaves, alot of em look like they're gonna start falling off, here's some more pics.

Its probably the ph, my runoff was about the same and my lower leaves where yellowing through veg!! It seemed like it took about a week to fix itself..

I would think about using something like grow big, look on the fox farms website and you will see on there soil chart that they throw in some grow big towards the middle of flowering to keep nitrogen levels up to counter that yellowing that going on. If you have the ph worked out I would definitely think about adding a low dose of N and seeing if it helps!

Plants are looking good bro, good luck figuring it out!

yea could be your water dude... my tap water is 700 ppm and 8.5 ph!! ppm is very important, ppm goes up when you add nutes to the water... but 700 ppm is full of what in my tap water? hell if i know, but my plants wouldnt like it im sure..

i am buying water from the store , ppm 30 and ph was around 7 so i lowered with ph down to 5.5 ph (for hydro)

Yeah I never planned on cuttin em off, it looks like some will be falling off soon. I think a part of the problem might be they are rootbound, and I also heard it could be a calcium/magnesium deficiancy or a nitrogen def. I'm pretty sure they've gotta be rootbound since they've been in these 3 gallon containers their whole life.

6 weeks today! the buds are lookin great but the leaves are still no good :\ But today I used molasses for the first time, which I hear is good for calcium and magnesium and other trace elements. I put about 1-1 1/2 tbsp per gallon of distilled water. Ill put up some pics later

Here they are day 43. I just watered with molasses yesterday. Id say about 10-15% of the hairs are starting to turn orange/red. Can they make it to the end?? What can I do to help them last another 20-30 days?:o

I think the molasses helped the buds look extra fat and juicy today haha.

Should I just continue with the tiger bloom and/or molasses every other watering for the last 20-30 days or what should I do?

cool, tomorrow I'm gonna water em with just straight distilled and then tiger bloom/a little molasses one more time then for the remainder just flush em with distilled water.

Thats probably what I would do. How much molasses have you been giving them per gallon? I've read that towards the end you can double your dose I would add at least 2 tablespoon per gallon. Either way they look really good, can't wait to hear the smoke report :)

hmmm really? Ive been using 1-1 1/2 tbsp per gal. Ive never done like mixing nutes but would it be cool to use molasses and tiger bloom in a gallon? Considering that I pH the water. How much do you think could burn em if im this close to harvest for the last feeding? I only used 1/4 tsp per gal. of tiger bloom whenever I used it cause I heard it could burn easily.

Since your so close I would just stick to the same dose with the tiger bloom but from what I hear the molasses won't burn. I would do at least 1-2 tablespoons of molasses and just mix it right in with the water and tiger bloom. I've been mixing 1/2 tbsp of molasses on my 3 week old babies with grow big and big bloom. Are you flushing at all?

Oh and I'm pretty sure you can just feed with molasses every other watering even when flushing!

It has calcium and magnesium and some other trace elements I think, I also hear it has carbon that the roots love or something and that it makes the buds sweeter, use 1-2 tbsp per gallon of water and it will drop your pH like .2-.4 or something like that.
