My first grow: The bagseed edition!

This kinda sucks though cuz its my first grow and even before I germinated the seeds I was like fanasizing about smoking my own grown stuff, the friggin anticipation is killing me

haha yeah anticipation's a bitch. but thats lookin good.. should be good for lights for now. that'll definitely help a lot more than what you had before.

alos, for the sex thing. i think there is a way to tell the sex before flower. idk if this happens on every plant or just females, as ive only seen it twice and they've both been female. there are preflower pistil's that grow around the nodes. only about 2 of them per node, or on a few nodes. But Ive noticed these in veg and they've been female everytime. something to look into at least

Yea I noticed that cuz at the end of each leafs stem there are waht looks like two green lines coming from there.... its too small to get a pic of though

yeah you need a close picture for them.. too blurry for my camera. need something with a nice zoom. but yeah im thinking they might be girls.. but once you see balls on them they toss them, or move them away from the girls at least

OK so I am loving growing right now its just kinda slow but whatever it gives me time to think about how i am doing the next grow... I was thinking of ordering seeds, how does maui wowi sound?? It kinda sounds exotic and shit, Plus Kid Cudi has a song about it and I can play it to the plants as they are growing for inspiration haha

lol.. love your plants and they will return the love in the smoke is what I think. haha hell yeah man, growing is so much fun, no one can really understand it unless you do it. welcome to the growing world.

haha but yeah mawi wawi would be nice, just make sure you get this grow down nicely and some yield. its always good to have at least one successful grow under your belt of bagseed before you start spending money on seeds. dont wanna mess those babies up. Ill do a bagseed grow soon again, but, and I dont care if its kinda cliche, im gonna order northern lights and grow some of that sexy shit.

Also if they turn out to be male.. um, Ive heard you cant really smoke them cause they dont have as much thc. But you can abuse the hell out of them and learn more, just use them for practice. Like high stress training such as super cropping for one example, or practice more ideas for low stress training. Maybe practice cloning for when you get a really nice female in the future. If nothing, then just toss them

OK so i just wanted to know if I was doin my LST right, i have a good shot of it on page three the second pic in. should i just keep it that way and keep pulling it down as it gets bigger and bigger. i was thinking of eventually having it go in a complete circle, If anyone could offer up any advice I would be greatful

OK so the pics above are from two days ago, these two plants are growin pretty good now, I have gotten mixed answers on this but can anyone tell me the sex of them yet? And once they do show sex I can throw them right into flowering, right? I am not looking for a huge yeild this is my first grow and I actually wasntt expecting it to last but I am really happy with the results thus far.

lol.. yeah right there with you. that does suck man. but yeah you can throw them into flower whenever basically. bigger the plant bigger the yield. but you really wanna wait till they mature to thorw them into flower, (ie. wait till they show sex). but yeah looks like it woulda been a girl.
