Well as long as work without messing the plant up to much ill be happy I heard fluero can grow veg fairly well but you need the HPS for that juicy red spectrum?Im gonna give my hydro man a call on monday and see if he can fix me a deal. I think he has a fairly good idea what im doing as on Thursday i picked up some rockwool cubes and he said i shouldnt get to many or it will look obvious.....well i think thats what he said i didnt dare question him as i thought better just to act naive

Yeah, your "hydro man" will be considerably more expensive than shopping online. The two hydro stores I go to are at least 30% dearer, even more on some items and they don't have anywhere as much variety.

I hear ya Rusty... Using Discount Hydro on ebay I am saving 60% in most cases... Its a bloody crime... I still use my local hydro for things like Cal/Mag/Nit and pH down. My hydro guys make the best ready made liquid pH down... I still buy things like cubes and knives and propagation gel but I make the big purchases usually from Discount....

The guys in canb are cool and usually give discounts to regulars. I shopped with them for a couple of years.

I used scrapings from the bottom of my grinder when I ran out last year.
Kept me nicely baked for a month.

Well so far my online shops (from ones that look half decent) are discount and aussieponics. I like brick and mortar places as i can use cash so i can sleep easy then ...That said i also seem to sleep alot better when i know i got a good deal...so i will keep searching the .com's
to be honest mate he might of said something different....but this guy looks like popeye and sounds like him too...with a lil sylvester stallone thrown into the mix. Gotta ask him to repeat everything a at least 5 times lol
That said he i called him on friday and he said he has some ballasts as low as $50...so i might drop in on Tuesday and just scope out some stuff.

that is where i got my set up 10 yrs ago was in a factory bay which had a showroom upstairs was one of the cheapest around back then & i was so paranoid that i didnt want to go ne where local
