Anyone know how well lemon skunk or super lemon haze would do outdoors, I live in california so it would be a favorable climate so Im sure they would do alright, but any1 out there know anything I dont....let me know...opinions, suggestions, answers??????
No I dont plant my outdoor garden in pots, there big pits, backfilled with a mixture of soils and supplements. I not asking can it be done, rather any1 with experience growing either strain outdoors, I really want to know how well they would yield outside. Just for information purposes the best way to grow outdoor is to dig yourself a big arse hole, fill it up with good soil, proper amount perllite and whatever supplemental ingredients you feel necessary, I would only grow in pot if it was bigger than a garbage can. Ive been running outdoor much longer than indoor and not all strains do well outdoors like they might indoors, other do well in both and vice versa. Where I live once spring starts its basically sunny and hot for 5-6months straight, california valley, we grow everything here, not just huge mary jane trees. I dug a few huge holes(6ft deep, 4'x4' area) for a couple lucky girls, Im shooting to break my own record for a single plant yield and it will be done because Ive already had most the outdoor babies vegging for couple months inside before they even hit the outdoors in a couple weeks. When the time comes I will have an outdoor journal, that where the girls grow into women and where everyman likes his women big. Peace every1!!!
It all depends on you my friend. Are the conditions going to be good? Any irrigation or are you going to be watering just a few by hand? Will they get too much rain, what if a storm rolls in and wipes 50% of them out. There are tons of factors, not to mention they are a very dominant sativa, meaning fragile and finiky. I got a indoor grow journal going now with 3 lemon skunk from dna, and they are fragile little girls. (But I am sure you know that) If you are going to keep the girls in big pots and grow with sunlight yeah it can be done no problem, if you actually put them in the ground they are way less likely to survive where an hearty indica could.
