This journal is a starting piece to my next grow. The beginning of the next grow is still undetermined but should be starting within the next month or so. If you like what you read please subscribe and wait for the journal to begin. Any comments or helpful info will be highly appreciated. All this being said thank you for coming and I hope you enjoy.

My Next Grow...

Housing...
The housing for my next grow will be 1 or 2 of these 2 sheds.
Arrow 10ft X 8ft Highpoint Shed
Arrow 10ft X 12ft Highpoint Shed
If I choose to use only 1 of them I will be using R-Tech Insulator Sheets to separate the shed into a veg / flower shed.

Lighting...
My light systems will be bought locally by a guy I know who owns this hydro shop.
http://www.alwayssunnyhydro.com/new/news.php

For the Veg room,
I am going to be using (1) 400 watt MH or (1) 1000 watt MH with an air cooled hood to allow for a no in no out grow environment. The veg lights will be on a 18/6 (18 hours on / 6 hours off) time schedule. On at 6am and off at midnight.

For the Flower room,
I am going to be using (2) 600 watt HPS or (1) 1000 watt HPS with air cooled hoods to allow a no in no out grow environment. The flower lights will be on a 12/12 (12 hours on / 12 hours off) time schedule. On at noon off at midnight. There will be (1-2) 13 watt Green CFL(s) in there to allow dark period work light.

Nutrients...
I will be getting most of my nutrients locally at
http://www.alwayssunnyhydro.com/new/news.php
I will be using a couple new nutrients that I haven't had the chance to use in the past due to funds. Here is the list of nutrients I will be using:
GH's Flora Series, FF's Big Bloom, FF's Tiger Bloom, Liquid Lead, Super Thrive (once during rooting, veg, beginning of flower), and Hygrozyme (during rooting)
*I am currently undecided on rooting hormone*
I have Olivias Rooting Gel but am getting horrid results from it. I have used Root Tone with Fungiside and had pretty decent results. I have read up on KLN and am considering using this for a test run.

GH's Flora Series

FF's Big Bloom

FF's Tiger Bloom

Liquid Karma

Super Thrive

Hygrozyme

KLN

Co2...
*Looking for recommendations.*
Side note: I have a ton of propane tanks and was considering a propane burner for a Co2 emitter.

Fans...
I will be using clip on oscillating fans as well as pedestal oscillating fans to help with stronger stems and better air circulation.

Air Conditioning / Dehumidifier / Ventilation...
For air conditioning I will be using a 5200btu AC from Wal-Mart.
For a Dehumidifier I will be using a 65 liter Dehumidifier from Wal-Mart
For ventilation the ducting will go from an outside source through the lights to a fan and back outside for a nice sealed grow room. No in no out systems help keep Co2 levels steady and undisturbed by any outside air. For the duct fan I will be using a 400 cfm inline fan.

Insulation...
For insulation I will be using:
R-Tech Insulator Sheets

Surface coverage...
For reflective surface coverage I will be using 1mil mylar on all walls, the roof, and the floor.

Strains...
I have wanted to grow White Widow again since I did a lot of breeding and growing of that in the past and I absolutely love the strain, the grow, and the smoke of it. I plan on growing some White Widow and AK47 and want to try these (2) strains I have been reading a lot about called Blue Dream and Crystal. Blue dream is a derivitive of Blueberry Kush and Crystal is supposed to be better than White Widow so I am wanting to put these 2 to the test and see how they turn out. Maybe a little grow in the corner of the room lol.

White Widow

Ak47

Blue Dream

Crystal

Type of grow system...
I am in between ideas. I will either be going with a hydroponic system or DWC totes.
If I choose to do hydroponic with sprayers I will build my own hydroponic system which will consist of 18-22 gallon Rubermaid totes from Wal-Mart, 200+ GPH water pump, 200+ GPH air pump, red sprayer tips or green 360 sprayer tips, (35-50) 2" net pots, and (35-50) 2" neoprene inserts.
If I choose to do DWC I will build my own DWC system which will consist of 18-22 gallon Rubermaid totes from Wal-Mart, 300+ GPH air pumps, 3" net pots, and 12" air stones or (4-6) air disks.

Cycle...
I was thinking of using a system where I could harvest every 2 weeks and then I found Al B Fuct's "How to harvest every 2 weeks" and it was the exact same concept as I was going to do. I read through it and it was the same except I was going to have 5-6 flower areas whereas he only has 4. I am going to go through with Al's 4 flower plot and just adjust it to my likings. Here is a link in case you missed it:
https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/6592-get-harvest-every-2-weeks.html

Cloning...
I am so used to buying my clones but have cloned in the past and here recently.
For cloning I will be building my own "Ez-Cloner" and will be designing that at a later date but have a few ideas in mind. For the materials I will be using (1) tote (size undecided), (1) 150 (or less) GPH water pump, 2" net pots with neoprene inserts, rooting hormone, and hygrozyme. The tote will be under (1-2) 48" dual tube shop light fixtures with 6500k 3100 lumen tube florescents in it with a 24 hour light schedule until rooted then straight to flower.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy this as much as I do :D I will be starting this grow as soon as I get a chance and all the gear. The links posted here are only hypothetical and I will be looking around for better prices for my gear. I may alter the strains and possibly a few other things but this is the general idea as to how I want to do things.

This thread hasn't been started yet. I should have waited to post this sorry guys I got eager and figured I would have the money a hell of a lot sooner than this. I hate the economy of this year and the last 2. Everything is so dam slow. I will update this with exactly what I will be starting. This was the idea of what I wanted my next grow to be but this grow may have to wait til a couple down the line... Unfortunate but I will get this started asap. Sorry for the wait guys.

Na guys I really haven't been able to get any $$ together. Lots of spending these past few months. Had a graduation, trips back and forth to the hospital for family things, death in the family. Just a lot going on right now. Will get on this as soon as I get the funds guys I promise you will be the first to know :D I am going to start a new journal soon full of pictures. Going to have to go soil right now ran out of nutes and don't have the $$ to get any more... Really hit low this time lol. Still growing though. Lost 12 plants over this past month due to heat problems that I wasn't prepared for. Found spider mites and have been battling them for the past month. Lots guys lol I will get on this soon though.

The thing I'd watch for is soil staying wet for to long.

The one housing my tomato plant had this problem I was worried about root rot.

I poked holes all around it to combat the situation.

I wouldn't poke the holes until you get a feel for the soil

because it could have been my soil mix. That's the only problem I had though.

Good luck man hope it goes crazy for ya.

I will post some pictures of everything I have going right now but it is nothing like what the first post in this thread says. It is going to be outdoor and a lot of cloning in this thread. Hope you all enjoy. See you tomorrow :D

Hope it's on again. Good to hear. Love to see your outdoor grow.
My soil mix has quite a bit of perlite, but I'll keep an eye on it.

It's easy to supplement water to too much perlite but it's hard to get aeration to muddy soil so I would personally prefer too much perlite to not enough :D
