I just want to say that I wish we had more options for uploading avatars. I cannot upload ANYTHING I want to use

In another forum I am a member of there is a "link to offsite avatar" choice that does not have file size restrictions. Would it be possible to have that here?

what problems are you having? file size? i use a resize program. Irfanview.

That is exactly the problem I am having. It's an animated GIF I want to use. I could chop a few frames out of it with Adobe Image Ready, but then that would take away from the humor in it
