that is just ground up pot mixed with alcohol. that is not hash.

There shouldnt be any leaf material at all in the mix, bro. What you have there is not hash. fdd is absolutely right about that one.

What did you use for a filter? Cheese cloth? You need a very fine filter to get all the green out. <100 micron screen.

Even this is too green for some peoples taste. From a 140 micron screen.

i made 'iso hash' from old vaporizer stuff ran through a coffee filter, i got blazed from the resin balls when I vaped it but would I do it again? probably not

Some people would say smoke it but I wouldn't...I didn't even like my own iso hash and it was golden clear, no particles at all...I am a bit of a cannabis snob.

I wouldn't. Allow me to attempt to explain...(I am really medicated off NL hash)

The idea behind iso hash is to leach the alcohol soluble THC glands from the veg material. The only problem is that THC isn't the only thing that gets stripped from the plant material. Chlorophyll, and god knows what else is dissolved in the alcohol because alcohol is such a good solvent. So the longer its in alcohol, the lower the quality of the end product.

When I made iso hash, I would use scissors to chop up the sugar leaf and popcorn. Not finely like a joint, coarse, big chunks. Also, I would only use fresh, frozen material. Dry stuff breaks up too finely and too easily, IMO. I would put this in a mason jar, packing it in tightly. Then I would fill the rest of the jar with 99% iso, also from the freezer. Top the jar and shake it for 5 seconds, add a little more iso, shake for 30 more seconds and strain through a fine mesh, 140 + into a large, shallow glass baking dish. Allow to dry, alcohol evaporates at 76 degree F (if memory serves) and should quickly evaporate within a few days providing your house is warm enough.

ok let me give u a quick lesson in iso and yes u can re use the same stuff as long as the trichs are still there get u a glass jar with a lidput all ur trim bud leaves in there put some alchahol just over the bud line and shake and aggitate for about 20 to 40 seconds then if u have a silk screen put your cress on top of a flat pyrex dish and put trough only think that should come through is liquid then u could A let it sit for a few days or B as long as u dont have alot of achahol put the pyrex dish in the oven on 185 and let it evaparate for about 10 to 15 mins then pull the dish out lit it sit oveer nigh when u wake up u will have a amber colored resin in there scrape that with a razor blade and mold to any shape u wantill give u a few pics of some i just did
