I'm trying to figure what strains to grow outdoors this coming season, (2010).
Strains I have are,
1. Crooked Prairie (California big bud x Orange Hair).
2. White Queen (Amsterdam Seeds)
3. Hawaiian Skunk (Amsterdam Seeds)
4. Purple Power (Amsterdam Seeds)
5. Black (Strain of purple suppose to be black in appearance)
6. Hijack (fdd's strain)
7. N.Y.D. x Grapefruit (N.E.L. strain)
8. Purple Kush (TLD's strain)
9. Mango
10. (?) :weed:

Let's hear from you all, what say for number 10?

I'm not sure if you buy seeds from the internet, but you should check out the MrNice Seed co. ;)

Thanks Jon, I have bought seeds off the internet, will look up this Company. Just looking for personal experience with certain strains, prefer mostly Indica but open to hybrids:weed:
Son started tearing out the old garden, will be salvaging 6 boxes from last years grow and building 12 new but with a diameter of 6'x6':leaf:

Lots of work to do with moving the garden to another part of the property. Were just tearing out the old and except for the 6 boxes the rest will all be burned, doing it as I type. Going to keep 6 of the old and cut one side out to screw together to make them 8'x8', then build the new boxes to a 6'x6' should be some MONSTERS for 2010.
Have you heard of the Red Diesel? It's a NY diesel crossed with California big bud, may try it next year? Be in touch:mrgreen:

Hearing really good reviews on the red diesel, thought it may have made it up there? You'll like the sturdy structure on the Crooked Prairie..

Really like the Purple power, planning to grow it again this season. Cheese is 1 of the top 3 I've been considering, that and Green Crack or Headband? Drive a guy crazy planning these things, lol:peace:

You'll love the Purple power in both taste and high she's a great addition to anyone's garden. While mine didn't get purple, maybe at my other garden site this coming year cause it's higher in elevation by about 2,0000 feet? Both of my friends whom I gave a start of the purple to, yielded around 4 lbs each.
Wil be checking into the cheese..:hump:

Hey PiP, the boxes are at least 20 inches deep above ground plus we dig down another 6 to 10 inches.
My soil mix is super soil, chicken manure, compost form our local dump then I add perlite, vermiculite and blood meal, if I'm putting in new boxes? then I put down a layer of dolomite once I've excavated the hole. :leaf: The mix is 2 cf of super soil to 2 cf ft of compost and 1 cf of chicken manure, until box is full Important to water and let bed rest for a couple of weeks before placing starts into them. Even though most manures are not that hot? it's better to be safe.. Good luck:weed:
