Which one should I get? Whats the differences really?

I'm finally ordering the Digital Volcano :D

It will probably be personal use with up to 4 people on it at once

Are you deadset on the digital? I had the classic first and now I have the digital and honestly I like the look of the classic more and I wouldn't get another digital. The novelty of the digital wore off after a week or so. The classic looks almost like a piece of art and once you dial in the temperature it is gold.

As far as the valves I have also owned both. Currently I have the Easy Valve.

Neither of them are perfect designs.

I like the solid valve a little more because you can replace and adjust the size of the bags. You can get the Volcano bags and make it 10 feet tall if you want or if you want something cheaper you can get turkey bags (although I found them cumbersome). You can take the whole assembly apart and with a little alcohol and a cotton swab it is like brand new. One warning - You WILL eventually forget to put the screen in and fill the bag with your herb when you hit the fill button. I only did it a few times but it is really a buzzkill and a pain in the ass when it happens. Also because the valve is spring loaded it maintains the bag better if you are going to be filling the bag and consuming later. The easy valve is just a piece of perforated rubber and you have to be more careful with an inflated bag.

The easy valve is nice but when the bag gets dirty you have to buy a new bag / top valve (unless you are going to rig something up) because the bags are not designed to be replaced like the solid valve. It really isnt that much easier to use other than the fact that you can't forget the screen. I feel the easy valve bag is a little bit too small for my liking. The easy valve also feels very cheap.

If I were in the market again - I would get a Volcano Classic with the solid valve.

First off don't waste the extra cash on a digital volcano. The dial version works great. To smoke weed you want to start out at a 7 or a 7.5 and move up to 9 as the weed vapes out more. Also the non-digital volcano has 2 years more warranty coverage.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T BUY THE EASY VALVE!!!!!!!!!!!
Get the solid valve. With the solid valve you can easily change the bags on you're own (making larger or smaller bags when need be). It only costs a few cents to replace the bags with the solid valve. Just buy the solid valve, it's what 90% of all volcano owners buy.

With the Easy valve the bag is attached to the mouth piece and is said to be non-user replaceable. So basically anytime you need a new bag (which you will every 2-3 months) you have to spend like 30-60 bucks to do so. Some people can change these bags but it's really a fucking pain in the ass.

I ended up getting the Digital w/ Solid Valve with a few boxes of volcano bags for $650 tax free

I just liked the look of the digital, im kind of OCD about things being precision so it works out

Shits fucking awesome though, me and 3 guys got blasted from it in like a half hour so ima get at it a little more

Thanks for the advice though, glad I didnt get the easy valve I like the solid a lot

But do I have to have all these things over the screen to actually vape? It's a pain in the ass

And how much herb should I be using in one pack?
