Can I use one of those bulbs that are spiral shaped to grow my plant? If you dont know what im talking about it's one of those bulbs that everyone says it is better for the environment. Can i use it or no?

Those are called CFL's and lot's of people get great results with them. Take a look in the Lighting Forum, there's a ton of info there.

U are talking about Cfls and yes u can

Sounds like your talking about CFL's and they work but are even better as an add on to an hps or mh light system.
