What Grow Liht Should I Buy 150W, 250W Or 400W?

iv been looking to buy a fairly cheapish growlight to grow 2 or 3 plants in my room what would be the best light to buy?

I just bought a 250W for £25 inc postage, and a bulb for £10 inc postage. Much better and cheaper than a cfl, puts out about 30000 lumens apparently. If you buy a low bay light then rewire it to seperate ballast, you don't have to but its quite easy and it is alot cheaper

Id shell out a little more money and get a HID setup if you can deal with the heat.

Dont forget to check out Ebay as well. You can find affordable systems there and you usually get extras thrown in(timer, hangars, etc).

Read that, if you are willing to invest that little bit more it is well worth buying an HPS. I'm currently using CFLs but am switching over to HPS in a few weeks once I have finished this current grow, and I somewhat doubt I'll look back. So the main differences are light, and cost, with HPS being more on both fronts.

Think ive finally decided to grow 4 purple widow plants under a 300w CFL bulb
